In view of the rave comments and the communication with queues and shortages of pastries just after opening which remind me of an Apple Store when the latest iPhone was released, I was curious to test these famous cookies ! About ten minutes of waiting and here I am in the fairly sober store, with a very “healthy” decoration. The atmosphere is quite bohemian and everywhere there are certificates attesting that these are the best cookies in Lake Charles! In order to best compare with the competitors I took 4 chocolate chip cookies. The price is violent. Almost $20 for 4 cookies, no discount depending on the number purchased (unlike crumbl for example). The cookies are put in an ugly plastic box, at $4.5 per cookie we hope at least for nice packaging, even Walmart does better. I followed the instructions to reheat them and there: big disappointment. The (milk) chocolate is tasteless, tasteless, the cookie is just a concentrate of sweet and buttery dough. No finesse, no elegance, no play of textures with a melting center and crunchy edges for example. A big, disgusting cookie dough with no other interest than a spike in blood sugar! In short, much ado about nothing, overrated, too expensive and without any interest. The only success is the ultra effective and well-established communication on the networks, as for the cookies Crumbl is far above, or even just the cookie recipe from chef Philippe Etchebest will give you more pleasure for 1/5 of a price ! Will I come back? Never !

Get there early to enjoy their full menu.....Parking: The parking lot is extremely small and can be challenging for those of us who drive larger SUVs and Trucks.Wheelchair accessibility: We did not notice a handicapped parking spot when we visited. But there is a ramp. The door threshold could cause some a problem.

Today I drove an hour and a half to try the cookies that I had to have after seeing on TikTok. Hands down the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever had in my life. Such a cute and super clean environment. Customer service is top tier. Would absolutely recommend!

Terrific treats is an understatement, this cheesecake is one of the BEST I’ve ever tried! Creamy, smooth, just the right amount of sweetness and a golden, delicious crust! I’m sad I can’t get this treat more often as I live out of town, but I’m sure my waistline is thankful for that. The owner and his worker are also so courteous and friendly. Please check out this gem, you won’t be disappointed! Also, the chocolate chip cookies are absolutely amazing!

The cheesecake was delicious. It was the first cheesecake I've had that didn't have a brick crust. The chocolate chip cookie was amazing as well. The only thing I'd change would be to make a semi sweet chocolate chip cookie option as I found it a little overly sweet from the milk chocolate (assuming they're milk chocolate chips). It was still good, though.

Amazing customer service and the cheesecake and cookies and bread pudding are DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The owner God Bless his soul because he’s amazing!!!! I went to buy king cake cheesecake and they were sold out so I got bread pudding and left..he came outside to get me and got me a piece that was “messed up” I offered to pay because it was cosmetic and a little piece broken but he gave it for free and that almost made me cry. I was taken aback and hope my thanks conveyed how grateful I was. I know it might not make sense, idk how to explain it, other than it meant a lot.

My niece and I stopped by Twainie’s today and got a slice of cheesecake, bread pudding, a king cake cookie, a cookies and cream cookie, and Twainie threw in the cinnamon toast crunch cookie for free. EVERYTHING was fresh and delicious. The bread pudding was hot from the oven. The best I’ve ever eaten.
