Excellent Arepas, I have had them before in NC at a chain called Guasaca, but these here at Orinoco were beyond what I’ve tried before. All of the dishes my wife and I tried were delicious. My wife had the coconut cream shrimp, and I had the Arepa with shredded chicken, Mayo, Queso and avacado. Will definitely return.
The food and drinks were great! We attended their event for locals to practice their Spanish. They provided name tags and a conversation starter sheet with their delicious food. I love supporting small family owned businesses, and this one goes above and beyond. It’s excellent!
I was fortunate to have been raised by a restauranteur, to have grown up in the business and to have enjoyed Latin cuisine in Spain and throughout Central America. The food at Oronoco Restaurant is simply excellent. Beyond that, the owners are genuine, they want to serve and please, they appreciate their customers and they are very welcoming. You cannot ask for more.
