Decided to stop in after not going there for a while and the food was excellent. We ordered tung cho chicken and Szechuan spicy beef. My beef was perfect unlike the post above. The food actually comes out hot so that you have to wait before you eat it unlike some other restaurants in the area. I will be returning.

This food was absolutely horrible, the steak tasted like beef liver and the rice was hard as a rock. And as you can see by the color. I didn’t add anything to it and this was the color of the rice.I have more onion and bell pepper than steak. A waisted of 11$

The Tong Cho chicken at lunch today was extremely hard, ....possibly overcooked or Old. The only saving grace was the sauce.
Definitely NOT the restaurant it once was. ?

Hands down the best Chinese food in LaPlace. I drive regularly from Kenner to eat here and that’s sayin something

This place is a regular go to for great Chinese dishes. Hot Pepper Chicken is our favorite dish, and the egg rolls are always great. Nice little sit down restaurant with friendly staff and great Chinese staples. We often stop by for take out on the way through LaPlace.

Vegetarian options: They can make any dish without meat or will make substitution for you.

Recommended dishes: Hot Pepper Chicken, Wonton Soup

These people are thieves. I came to eat and bought something to eat and I shared a can of soda for 5 dollars.

The food just wasn’t it. Sometimes you go to places that may excel at doing other dishes well, but the Sweet and Sour Shrimp w/Shrimp Fried Rice wasn’t really good. The flavor was lacking in both the rice and the shrimp. They didn’t have shrimp egg rolls or spring rolls which is a bummer but not a deal breaker. I will try again and pick something else and hope it’s better than what I ordered today. My first overall experience for Chinese King is “meh”.

Kid-friendliness: It was a relaxed atmosphere with dim lighting. Not overly crowded and plenty of space.

Parking: Parking was no trouble at all and there was plenty of it with ease of access.

Didn't even get to ordering. Lady at the counter was so rude, I didn't hesitate to leave. We were the only people there, and I can see why. As soon as she gave me the menu to order, she told me to hurry up and order. It was 6:30pm

Food is always good, but I rarely dine in. Decided to dine in today and the person working was very rude and condescending. I will not dine in again.
