The food was tasty and our server Shelly was awesome. The main dining was closed for an event so we sat in the bar. The only big negative was how warm it was with minimal air flow. Especially for a 77 degree day.

The boiled shrimp had a good flavor. They peel and de-vein them before boiling which we weren't expecting. We come from further south and usually boil our shrimp just like they come out of the water. The pork chop was pretty good as well. Great scenery and the staff was friendly.

Exceptional in every way! Beautiful lakeshore setting. The Pontchartrain salad was loaded with crabmeat and delicious. Perfectly fried, huge seafood platter. Service was perfect. Check out this beautiful lakefront restaurant. Takes reservations. Live music on weekends. Tried the Pontchartrain salad which was loaded with crabmeat and delicious! Hubby had the seafood platter and has lunch for tomorrow too. Excellent service and attentive management. We will definitely return.

A great find staying outside of New Orleans. Food was delicious, view was amazing at sunset, staff was very kind. A very comfortable setting for a meal with friends or a special date night out. We had a mix of daily specials and menu items and all were delicious. Definitely make sure to have a cup of the gumbo added to whatever meal you plan to have!Kid-friendliness: We took our 1 year old and they were very accommodating to high chair space. It helps to have to crackers on the table for a quick snack before food arrives.Wheelchair accessibility: Even though the building is set high for rising water, there is a long, slow incline ramp with plenty of switchbacks and breaks.
