Just to start the oil was clean the onions rings and fries were perfect cooked. The onion rings have a butter flavor that's out of this world hands down the best I've ever had!!!! I got the Shrimp Dinner that was also fried to perfection!!!! The service was amazing super happy very welcoming!!! Setup like an old 50's diner with all the neon lights!!!

Food is always hot and prepared to order. Roast beef is sloppy like most people like it. The burgers are nice sized and taste very good. Don't forget to get a root beer. I have also stopped by to get their banana milk shakes which hits the spot. Service is professional and quick! You will not find a bunch of young people playing on their phones behind the counter.

I've eaten at most of the Frostops in the state and this is the saddest excuse for a frostop likely in existence. The only decent food they serve is the stuff they serve off the official menu.Saddest part. Even the root beer was off.
My mom and I went to Destrehan today, and decided to stop by Frostop for a delicious old fashioned hamburger and fries. We are originally from Norco and I haven't eaten here since I was a young girl. The food was absolutely delicious, hot and fresh! The French fries were cooked to perfection and OMG the frozen mug of Root Beer, magnificent!!!! We went about 2 pm and the restaurant was busy for to go orders, but we were the only ones in the dining room. The lady and gentlemen taking orders were very nice and polite along with the other workers. The food took about 10 minutes to come out to the table, amazing!! The ambience is like a mom and pop diner and the best thing about dining in was the music. If you love the 50's and 60's...you are in the right place. Fabulous food and fabulous service...thanks again!

Dined in around 12:30-1pm, inside had plenty of open tables. Got the chili burger. Wasn’t terrible, wish the Pattie was a bit thicker though. Thin layer of chili so don’t expect it to be sloppy, but Was good overall. The atmosphere was older. So any Gen Z or Millennials might not care for it. More of a local joint.I’d come back again.
