3 stars for being pretty cheap, but food was really salty (and I generally like salty food). Tried the daily special which was a shrimp stew, side of corn, and side salad. Banana pudding was solid. Would’ve gotten the namesake dish (jambalaya) since I’d assume that’d be the best, but they were out.
We're on a road trip from Texas & needed a break from being in the car & something to put in our bellies. Didn't even realize when we first walked in that they were VERY close to closing, but they still served us as if it were the middle of the day. Hot, fresh, delicious jambalaya, gumbo & red beans. If we are ever in the area again we will be back.
