My husband and I ate here today! Service was excellent and the food was amazing! I’m not sure if the server knew I was new to Puerto Rican food, but he thoroughly explained the menu and provided a recommendation, which was amazing! My husband and I both enjoyed our main dishes and had a empanada…which was to die for! The price was also very reasonable. We will definitely be back!
This is the real deal if you want authentic home-cooked Puerto Rican food. I hadn't had pollo guisado in a long time and the flavors all came back after having lunch at Brenda's. This is a gem of a restaurant!
Walk in and greeted upon entrance. Waiter was nice and said his favorite was the beef stew so I ordered it. It did not disappoint, tasty gravy and tender meat, the rice was cooked to perfection. I like spicy so after a few bites I added their homemade hot sauce and it was great! The homemade sweet tea was great as well. Thank y’all!
