We stopped in randomly on a Monday afternoon heading back to Texas from Leesville. Never been to one before in my life. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and the staff was very friendly. We took a little time deciding what we wanted and they were very patient with us. First time I've been to Captain D's and it's a shame we were only passing through Leesville because that was mighty fine food with great friendly service. The spicy battered fish added a unique twist to a traditional Fish and Chips, and I consider myself an expert, I'm English and have probably eaten fish and chips twice a week for 45 years before coming to the USA. My wife enjoyed the chicken tender and fried fish combo immensely.
