El Flamingo Mexican Restaurant & Bar

I absolutely love this place. The fajitas are amazing. We always get the fajitas for two and there is plenty to share. The warm shells are amazing. The drinks are huge. The chips and salsa always hit the spot as an opener. The staff is friendly and the food comes out hot fresh and quick. If you like Mexican food then this place is amazing.

I mean it was ok. Chicken was bland. Salsa was mid. Service was decent. Took an hour just to get my check so I may be salty.

We had ok service but the food I ordered wasnt what I really wanted. I was ok with it though and ate it despite them not doing it correctly. I wasn't looking for confrontation. The problem came at the end when they said they had forgotten to accept our coupon and that we would just have to use it another day. I know the business and how easy it is to delete an order and correct it. Our server just didn't feel like doing it but he sure didn't forget to add the drink they had left off nor were they so hard up to charge us extra after we had left because our tip wasn't big enough for lousy service. I get it the job sucks but not honoring our coupon and brushing it off like a jerk was just unmannerly.

If you're looking for a good Mexican restaurant in Leesville, El Flamingo is the place to be! 🌮💃

The chimichanga? Pure deep-fried perfection—crispy on the outside, melty magic on the inside. I almost cried tears of guac-ward joy. The chips and salsa came out hot and fresh, and the salsa had just the right amount of sass (like a telenovela in a bowl). 🌶️

The drinks? Let’s just say they didn’t come to play. Mine was basically a fiesta in a fishbowl, and I’m not mad about it. 🍹

The staff was so friendly and helpful, I thought maybe they misteak me for a celebrity. And the prices? In this economy?? Let’s just say El Flamingo isn’t trying to taco all your money—definitely easier on the wallet than other spots I’ve visited lately.

10/10 would flamingle again. 💃🌯🔥

Some friends and I went after a long day of muddin. We got there about 40 mins are so before closing. They all were still very polite and friendly. Along with joking and cutting up with us. The food was really good. I got the Texan Fajitas, queso, and my friend got the chicken over rice with queso on top. She said hers was really good as well. It was a good size portion for both meals. It was also not very expensive. Definitely 10 or of 10 recommend. The one in deridder is also amazing.

Absolutely fantastic salsa! I had the daily special that was the “flamingo burrito” with chicken. Fantastic food, wish this restaurant was in my town.
