Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had! The catfish was huge, crispy, and full of flavor. The Cajun mac and cheese and jambalaya were delicious, and the red velvet cheesecake was the perfect finish. The portions are big—I still have more than half left! You can taste the love in every bite. Definitely worth supporting!

I’ve eaten there on several occasions, different meal. I’ve tried the Cajun Mac n cheese, shrimp lovers and more. Lots of southern flavor and the staff are also friendly.

They are killing it. If you visit Ft. J for any reason you need to come here. AAFES needs to consider more mom & pop shops, this is the best food I've had during this trip and it's in the food court.

I was in town for work. The food was absolutely delicious. The étouffée, gator, meat pie, po boy, pecan pie…I ate there three days in a row and loved everything I ate. Wish we had Cajun food this good back home. And the people working were an absolute delight!

Gumbo was good, but a bit plain. The "we don't do fountain drinks" is a weird hill to die on in a PX food court. Definitely will try a po boy next time.

When visiting Vernon Parish, Louisiana, consider stopping at a seafood place with a great menu and reasonable prices. The location, now known as Fort Johnson, was renamed to honor Sgt. William Henry Johnson, a distinguished African American soldier from World War I. Learn about his history and enjoy the food truck or online ordering options available outside the base.

If you are looking for food or even a snack Please try this place The food is awesome!! Mr John walked us through the menu and explained everything and even gave my kids sample of the Cajun Mac and cheese to make sure they liked it before we ordered. I got the gator po boy I couldn't stop eating that thing. The Cajun Mac and cheese got devoured and it was enough to feed all 3 kids.
