Met with a friend and ate dinner. Food was excellent. Waiter spent more time with other servers and one other customer.

This is my favorite lunch spot. I'm so glad they have keto options. The food is always good. The floor is a little wonky and I feel like I'm going to trip sometimes but the food is what matters and I'll keep coming back.

We tried this place out for the first time, ordered over the phone. My husband picked it up on his way home. Upon getting home we realized we had paid $47 for 3 side salads, 1 small to go container of diced up grilled chicken and melted cheese, 1 cup of gumbo, 8 chicken nuggets, 1 bag of chips, and 1 cookie, no drinks. Half of our order was missing. The food we DID get was mediocre at best. We won't be back. I would have had better luck getting food from Chili's.

The sandwiches are my favorite in town! I only regret taking a year to visit them. Tell all the new folks about this location. The atmosphere is rustic and comfortable. The sausage sandwich (jalapeño bread) and brisket potato!

decent food, but they are horrible at running a restaurant For someone that is only open for lunch, they are woefully unprepared. show up 1 hour into their business day and they are "Out of Everything " it's not like they didn't have enough time to restock. dirty floors, filthy carpets, tables in need of cleaning. A parking lot in need of a serious grading to get rid of some deep car bottom scraping ruts

Overall good dining experience here. This is a good lunch stop with home made delicious sandwiches and soup! Try the street tacos :)

Even when assessed using the relaxed standards one frequently must adopt when eating in communities without a lot of dining options, this restaurant is pretty bad. We were a party of two, arriving during the weekday lunch rush: Upon entering, we stood there being ignored by the cashier until we finally initiated the interaction. Her response (without liking up): "Eating here? sit wherever you want." We did as we were told. For a while. Quite while. Finally, the waitress shows up. In her defense, she might have been the only waitress working in the place. We both ordered soup/sandwich combos. The gumbo was flavorful, but the broth is very thin. That is off-putting to some, but like I said, the flavor was there. The sandwiches took almost 40 minutes (40!) to appear, long enough that the waitress apologized twice for the delay. She also pointed out twice that the #1 I ordered took the longest to prepare of anything on the menu. It's a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich. Literally just sliced turkey and melted cheese... The restaurant's floor was uneven, with soft spots and broken tiles to the extent that it presents a hazard for elderly people. The bathroom had both black mold and an abundance of spider webs visible. The air conditioning was not able to keep up with the summer weather. It was unpleasantly warm in the dining area. I will not return here.

Bring a straw if you order just a bowl of gumbo. All liquid. I might have gotten one quartered slice of sausage. No chicken. ?
