This is a real gem! We lived the food!!!! Authentic and approachable. Starlight special, Bimbap and Kimchi all highly recommend. Service outstanding and atmosphere is small town diner. We can't wait to go back.

First and last time. Tried the Bibimbap with no meat and was heavily disappointed. Asked if they had any options without meat and she said yes and stated the ingredients. $17 for a cold dish of rice, an egg, bean sprouts, and red paste with no drink. I didn’t even eat half of the entree and let the lady know I was disappointed. When going to pay, I mistook the entree for fried rice and the lady next to her got angry at me and repeated what I said shaking her head as I left and continued to look at me as I sat in my car. Was a strange experience, I’ll be going somewhere else next time

I was introduced to and instantly LOVED Starlite Special and bulgogi in early 2001. Moved away the same year. ? Fast forward to 2021. I returned and Starlite is STILL my favorite go-to Asian comfort food in the Leesville area.

The food was over-salted and tough. It seemed like it was prepared way ahead of time and just reheated. Maybe it was because we order the kalbi ribs. A lot of people seem to love it but we had a negative experience.

This really is one of the best places in leesville if your culturally diverse in food, top three spots for sure, great service a absolute gem tucked away. And cash only purchases just feel right.
