I go to this spot regularly and I get the same items each time! The last time I ordered I received more fat than meat! So this time I tried to talked to the owner the conversation he was having was more important than my money and my complaint! My daughter ordered food to the tune of $47 and the young lady at the register didn’t care about my plight! I am definitely parting ways with the Jamaican Spot for a long while!

My husband and I heard about this restaurant so we drove a little over an hour to try it. I was introduced to true authentic Jamaican food while living in Houston. This place was worth the drive! Mrs. V, the waitress was nice, friendly, very attentive, and great customer service. We will be going back. EVERYTHING was delicious. I don’t eat carrots but the carrots in the curry chicken were delicious. Even the plantain was good to say that I’ve tried it other places and didn’t like it. The price per person is only because we had the combination plates with different meats to try. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want good and delicious Jamaican food.

So...I'm going to just say it. The BEST service ever. Love feels this place. You can definitely tell they care about their customers. The food is OMG! The waitress literally helped my daughter put her food in her to go box in such a nurturing way like she was family. Oh and the portions. Y'all it's a lot! I felt welcomed and loved from the minute we walked through the door. Great authentic food, Large Portions, and exceptional service!! Who needs therapy when you can go to the Jamaican Spot?!?!

The food was not really all that great, the food was lacking flavor, I thought I was going to get some type of spice and delicious seasoning but I didn’t which was extremely disappointing. I also asked for curry flavor oxtails and ended up leaving with jerk oxtails and I didn’t realize that’s what they gave me until I got home. Besides from my order being a little wrong and the lack of flavor, they do give you a good amount of food to-go that’s the only good thing about the place.

I’m a traveling worker and can tell you that the Jamaican Spot is one of the best spots to eat in the area. The food is always delicious and flavors on point, the people are sweet as can be and the atmosphere is a small, special piece of the Caribbean right here in town.🎯 The ox tails, curry goat and jerk chicken are all fantastic, but my favorite here is the stew pork.
