G & J Drive Inn Reviews
I understand inflation, I work in retail myself however, almost $40 for two fish and shrimp boxes and 2 drinks when each box only has two tiny fish strips and 4 shrimp is absolutely ridiculous. Also, the food was just thrown in the box. However when my husband complained they did try to make it better but it took so long that the rest of the party we were with finished their food before we were even served so it did not make for a very pleasant experience at all.
The 1/4 lb. Steakhouse burger is delicious! Highly recommend!
Great food and service like always.
Very disappointed, we ordered food this past Monday night, an had to wait an hour for our food, then when it was ready we waited forever for some drinks an our cheese. Well when we got home to eat, our fries were not cooked, & our burgers tasted terrible. The only good thing was my sons chicken nuggets. I tried calling Monday night 3 times an the phones just rang an no one ever picked up. Called Tuesday an was told someone would be contacting me regarding our terrible $40 meal....read full review

G & J Drive Inn offers a variety of food options including fried shrimp po boys, cheese curds, burgers, and old-fashioned shakes. The restaurant has a hometown atmosphere, is clean and ADA accessible, with plenty of parking and options for dining inside or outside. It is a family-oriented business and kid-friendly, with a note to ask for a half-pound burger for a thicker patty. The restaurant could improve by playing low volume music in the background.
Passing through town around lunch time, visitors find this place to be a gem—a small, cute diner with friendly staff and fresh, homemade food. Customers often enjoy the cheeseburger po boy, wings, onion rings, and plates served Monday through Friday. The food is hot, fresh, and prepared quickly, with some noting the chicken breast is fully cooked and not dried out. The onion rings, hand-cut to order, look especially delicious. The seating area features tables lined around the room and a few in the middle, making it cozy but popular, so arriving early is recommended. The owner, Mr. Dennis, is known as a really nice guy, and the restaurant is praised as a better alternative to fast food chains like Taco Bell or Burger King. Many visitors, whether locals or just passing through, consider it a favorite for lunch or quick dinner, and some even enjoy getting ice cream afterward. The place is kid-friendly and perfect for families, making it a great stop for a family outing or a quick meal.
