I’ve been to Big Zach’ twice. Both times the food was phenomenal!!! The atmosphere was very laid back and relaxing. And everything was wonderful, except the service. The first time I went was a Saturday night and extremely busy. So there was an understandable wait. But I went again last night and the service was awful. There were only 4 tables including us there. We were seated by a young man who introduced the young lady who would be assisting him. We didn’t see the young man again till he gave us our bill. The lady brought our food, I requested catchup for my granddaughter, and she disappeared never to return again. I finally had to go to the bar to get some myself.So if you have time I definitely recommend stopping in because the food is sensational. Just be prepared to wait because the service is definitely lacking. And I’d have to say that’s the first time I’ve never left a tip.
It needs a 4.5.I went for lupper, so there weren't very many people there. The service was great and my Bacon Cheeseburger was pretty dang good. I generally dislike wedge type fries, but these were cooked just right and yummy. I'd easily stop here again if I'm ever this way again.

I ordered 2 loaded baked potatoes. What I got was the smallest potatoes and definitely not loaded. Over priced, over rated garbage.
Delicious! Friendly service! We ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich, chicken strips and a BLT. Everything was delicious and fresh. Super clean!

I work construction. Been at many places all over the country. I’ve eaten at some pretty decent places in Center TX and Carthage TX not far from here. This is the best place to eat in 50 miles and I dare say a top 5 in my nationwide experience. Excellent gem. Great food at reasonable prices. Parking isn’t great on a Friday night but this place is worth walking to if you gotta park down the street a bit. Quit googling where to eat. This is it. You’re welcome.

It is not all that they make it seem. Their food is honestly not all that great. The stuff crab is horrible not actually on the shell like other restaurants and definitely not Louisiana seasoned. The breading on the oysters and shrimp was completely falling off and soggy like it had been sitting for hours. The only thing that was enjoyed was the crawfish queso which honestly had no crawfish at all just the boil seasoning. Honestly I would not recommend this restaurant at all now when it first started and opened it was great but now it is not worth the money there is better places if you are willing to drive a little further.
