Nothing comes close to the barbecue here! This man and his team have truly perfected the art of smoking meats. If you’re planning to stop by, get there early there’s always a long line, and since everything is fresh, they do sell out! I’ve been a longtime customer, and the quality is consistently outstanding, with amazing new menu items popping up all the time. Highly recommend!

I was at the back of the line so we're others, we didn't get served because of the time but I saw others eating their food with exceptional enjoyment, I can just tell by looking at their food it's A1. Wish y'all would open up a full restaurant, y'all would definitely create generational wealth from it if you did.

After years of procrastination, I finally made it to the Legendary Gonzo's BBQ! They're only open 2 days a week, and yes, the line out the door is very real. But let me tell you - this BBQ is worth every second of the wait. Perfect smoke ring, melt-in-your-mouth texture, and the flavor that hits different.

I passed at 11:30am line was past apartment. Decided to pass at 2pm a couple of people in line outside. Once I made it to counter there was no sides and three meats left. Brisket jerk sausage and pull pork. Glad I was able to get something.
The brisket sandwiches and the Jamaican jerk sausage fire 🦾 this my first time here hands down the best bbq I’ve ever had the food never made it out the parking lot

Easily some of the best barbecue I have had in my life. Every piece of meat I saw hit the butcher block was wet. The brisket was really tender and juicy. Burnt ends was awesome, but the star of the show was the lamb chops with the hot honey, miso glaze! The people were really friendly and everyone wore smiles. The only drawback is that they are only open to sell barbecue 1 day a week. They need to expand immediately! It was GREAT!!!

Best bbq in SE Louisiana. I’ve eaten inside, to go, pre ordered, doesn’t matter, always slaps. Highly recommend the burnt ends, pork or brisket, and the Gouda grits are the best gifts I’ve ever had in my life. All of the desserts hit too. Really can’t go wrong.
