Acropolis of Mandeville

Everything is amazing here! The tzatziki and babagonoush are the best I have ever had. The Lebanese tea is authentic and so fresh. I don't even like onion soup and the 6 onion soup is absolutely astounding! The Greek salad is truly the greatest and richest salad that I've ever had. The staff is always friendly and makes any changes to the food that are asked. Everyone goes above and beyond.

First time ar Acropolis and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Generous portions (a small salad was plenty big). The appetizer sampler was fantastic and a good portion for 4 people. Wonderful wait staff. Will be back for sure!

I have been to the Metairie one location numerous times but always seem to forget about the one in Mandeville. We won’t forget again! Food was fantastic and piping hot. Service was excellent to boot. Huge portions and very tasty. We’ll be back. A lot.

First time there. EXCELLENT food and GREAT service! I recommend the Lasagna and the Greek beer (Mythos). We will definitely be going back. "Kudos" to the chef and staff. Thank you.

Me and my partner went to Greece on vacation and I loved the food and was so upset we only had albasha. Imagine my excitement when I hear of this place! And they're SO GOOD! The gyros and mousakka are amazing and taste very authentic. All the appetizers I've had so far have been amazing and whenever I go in the greet me with a smile and already have my order ready to go for pickup. I've already talked to some friends about going and dining in! Can't wait for them to try it too!

Third visit here, first two times everything was great but on this third visit the food was terrible. Each visit I have had pretty much the same thing. In the past the gyro wrap had slabs of meat seemingly cooked/warmed in the traditional manner on a spit; this time the gyro shavings that appeared to be warmed on a grill to a crisp, horrible. The wrap had peppers in it which it didn't before, and it only a very little amount sauce which was also different. Was romaine the right lettuce, so much? Seemed to have been prepared with altogether less care and attention. The steak fries were greasy and way over cooked first; kindly replaced, but then under cooked and raw. On other visits the steak fries, and frying in general, were perfect. The calamari appetizer was under fried to the eye and on the raw side; bland white instead of a golden cook, not sure how the expediter missed it and sent it out. The calamari needed salt and the marinara sauce tasted like it was out of a can, extremely disappointing compared to anywhere else it is on the menu in the area (Sal & Judy's is the best for calamari). So over the total of visits uneven and inconsistent, a bit bewildering.

My family and I absolutely love coming here. We've been dining at the Metairie location since I was a kid and were ecstatic to know when they opened here. It's run by the original owners, and everything on the menu is spot on! Very fresh, great portions, and nice price point. Hard to beat nice Greek/Mediterranean food.

Excellent dining experience. Appetizer, salad, soup, entree, and dessert were all outstanding! Service was very attentive and friendly. Connor is a top notch server! Highly recommend Acropolis.

The food was delicious, and they gave me a sample of sauce. The care and attention was excellent! I totally recommend them and do plan to return!!! Thank you!!!

Let me start by saying the food here is excellent. The spinach pie was the best I have ever had! The seven onion soup was also delectable.
The are two reasons for the four star rating. First, the men’s bathroom stall has a Huge gap in the panel and door; easily over one inch. You can see anything and everything even if you are actively trying not to. Also the paper towel dispenser was broken. Lastly, there was a total lack of pre-bussing the table. By the time the entrees made it out, we were drowning in plates.
These should be easy fixes and will result in a much better experience

I ordered a gyro dinner and for just under $18 I received some gyro meat, 1/2 of a small pita, and a baked potato with nothing on it, not even butter. I did not order the baked potato. I will never order from this place again. Not only is it overpriced for what you get, it's not even a "dinner". Terrible.

Thank you for your response @acroplis but no free meal necessary. We will try one final time, hoping that the third time will be a good experience.
