I have been coming to Cafe Lynn about once a year since they were in the old Burger King.
By far the best restaurant in St Tammany Parish and the Northshore in general, a very good contender for top ten in the GNO area.
Like a fool, of the half dozen times I've been here over the years I have never taken a photo until today and I have taken it of the unceremonious part of my meal. I wasn't particularly floored by the creme brulee or cobbler on this visit but as you can see it was not that big of a deal. I can stomach a 8/10 dessert on a 10/10 experience
The crab cake Lynn is a must. The side salad with the fried goat cheese is a must. Try whatever entree and order something different next time. I like the fish almondine and the steak but if they are running something new and unique for special, full send, but it.

What an absolutely lovely cafe! It was our first visit, but will definitely not be our last. The menu has all the divine regional seafood selections with French flair. We thoroughly enjoyed the seafood gumbo, sautéed crab claws and soft-shell crab entree (all outstanding)! Our server, Ellie, was so friendly and very attentive~ it was an all-round perfect dining experience.

This is what I got when I ordered my pasta.. the chicken looks under cooked and the whole thing looks as if they just threw everything in the box this is very is so acceptable! Then the bread pudding I got also had under cooked eggs at the bottom. Very disappointing and will no longer be going back.

Would suggest reservations if you plan on eating formally. The food is southern Louisiana style dressed up. As for myself, I met my husband here for lunch. I have no complaints. The facility is clean. It’s not over crowded. It warm and charming with 10 star service. ?
