Came in for an early dinner. Gabe was our server. Very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious and we were in and out as quickly as we wanted to be. We appreciated Gabe's attention to detail. Also, I would like to thank the manager who was working that day for helping us switch tables to a more quiet corner. Very nice spot just up the road from where we stayed.

The duck was very good, and the shrimp pasta that my hubby got was fabulous! The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Get there close to opening if you don't have a reservation on the weekend. It was busy by the time we left. We had a lovely meal. 😊

Our waitress Brenda did a great job. The food was wonderful, and she served it hot. Most of the menu items were local oriented (New Orleans creole), but some were French inspired. Brenda's Cosmo was strong and flavorful. I took some of my entree hoke because I wanted desert, blueberry cobbler a la mode. Yum!

First of all I don’t like writing negative reviews about local small businesses. We all make mistakes but it was my birthday, and this was not a service my husband should have paid for or a memory I should be left with. -Since it was my birthday and a colder night my husband and I thought it perfect to celebrate at cafe Lynn. We arrived at 7pm. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. My husband got his while I waited for my French onion soup. I waited for well over 20 min. Watching my husband eat, then I received my soup and my husband watched me eat, 1h later he received his entree while I just decided I didn’t feel like eating anything any longer this late. Mind you there were only 6 other customers so there’s really no excuse to serve your clients in such strange delay between meals, especially when telling the waitress it’s my birthday and can’t wait to have the French onion soup since I am French and miss it so much. It’s a French onion soup, not like you have to go pluck the chicken or catch the fish. She seemed to be completely distracted and didn’t acknowledge a word we said or asked for. I would not choose this place to celebrate, it felt a bit like entering a dentists waiting room in France staring at white walls with blank meaningless paintings to fill the space.
