Chafunkta Brewing Company

This hidden gem of a brewery is not to be missed! Great beer, fun atmosphere, excellent service. We find ourselves here all the time! They have recently had some excellent local music and food trucks multiple nights a week!

I recently visited Chafunkta Brewing Company and had a fantastic experience! They offer an impressive assortment of ales and IPAs, all of which were top-notch. One of the unique features of this brewery is their house-made syrups. You can personalize your beer with flavors like strawberry, black currant, cherry, raspberry, and blueberry, adding a delightful twist to your drink.

During my visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Josh, the owner. He's a great guy, passionate about his craft, and genuinely interested in making sure his customers have a wonderful time. If you're in the area and love craft beer, I highly recommend stopping by Chafunkta Brewing Company.

Im an out of towner, and they welcomed me & treated me with the utmost kindness. The beers are fantastic. They brew beers for every pallette, light to dark, low abv to barrel aged. If you're in the area, it's a must stop. Thanks again.

Chafunkta’s large warehouse was in the middle of a renovation, but the open air taproom was rowdy with live music, board games and tons of dogs. Scoring high marks on Google Maps (4.9) and better than average on Untappd (3.78), we can understand the appeal. The best brew on the flight was their 3XPBC Beer Inoculum; an 8.2% Imperial Stout. 3XPBC was brewed to celebrate their Nine Year Anniversary! It’s description states the imp stout is a “triple peanut butter cup beer” and oh did it scratch the peanut butter cup itch. Probably one of the best peanut butter cup stouts we’ve had - ever.

Best brewery on the Northshore

This was a great place to stop for a break while biking Tammany Trace! You can't see it from the trail, but it's very close. Enjoyed the beers (particularly the meyer lemon one!) and relaxed set up. "Beer"-tender was great and really cool skateboard art throughout the place!

Good beer and nice local place. Only about 6 options but good variety. I had a mix of the hazy IPA and the blonde, a "Blanonymous" that was really good.
