Food was excellent. Short Hispanic male waiter had a little bit of an attitude, but other than that it was very good! 🎉

I ordered a crown and sprite at the bar. They charged me $10 and poured this ridiculous 1 ounce pour (half of the jigger) with sprite. At least if I saw somebody I know, I could tell them I'm not drinking.
The drink is clear. And that's all I have to say, about that.

Maaaaaan lemmie tell you, this is the BEST Mexican restaurant around here. The margaritas (on the rocks) will knock you on your butt :) Big Sur fajitas, the flautas, the enchiladas tricolor and the 6 wonders salad are my favorites. Imma be upfront, in general, I hate beans but this the ONLY place I eat beans, they're fantastic. When the Israelites talked about Manna from Heaven I really think they were talking about Chivos frijoles charros; it's really that delicious and remember, I'm a certified bean hater. The free bean dip and the salsa with chips are both so yummy also :)

My only disappointments are the churriqueso, it's incredibly yummy but it's really runny and it makes eating it pretty messy. Maybe that's why it's so much more runny than other places, the flavor is just too much to contain. Okay and disappointment #2 and maybe they'll take this as a hint... there's no tres leches cake :( :( :( i mean i honestly shouldn't be so upset because Id want to get it every time and that's not good for my waist (eheheheee) but like i just know it'd be the best tres leches cake I'd ever have in my entire life and my soul utterly yearns for it. I'm going to try my best to manifest it so we can all have it in our lives.

Anyway, thats my review, food is great and the atmosphere is great and the wait staff is wonderful. I have a favorite waitress and so will you!

I love chivos! I am a frequent customer. I go there with my boyfriend, family, and friends. This is our regular date night spot. The food is exceptional, our server Juan G is impeccable, and the owner Sergio is amazing. We love coming here when we need a happy hour, date night, or an escape from cooking. This is our hidden gem. Chivos is such a great family friendly restaurant and it’s prices are unbeatable! Chivos never disappoints. We love supporting local businesses in addition to eating delicious food on a budget with amazing staff.

I love this place. My boyfriend and I eat here weekly. We come here with family and friends. We have impeccable service with Juan G in addition to every other server we’ve had. We love the food, truly delicious. Great taste, never disappoints, and the price is unbeatable. The Owner Sergio is such a kind and personable man. This place is a hidden gem. We love it and stand by it. Thanks chivos for being our favorite happy hour, date night, and easy escape from cooking dinner.

This is our "go-to" restaurant for Mexican cuisine. Try the Big Sir or Sur or Polo Santiago. Highly recommend the medium house frozen margarita. Keep up the good work guys, thank you

Overall, we enjoyed the experience, the appetizers, and drinks. The staff was nice. We started with queso with ground beef and it was delicious! The complimentary salsa and bean dip were also amazing. The salsa tasted like the tomatoes were roasted. I enjoyed my mango margarita on the rocks and my partner loved the house frozen margarita. I did not like the pineapple cilantro margarita on the rocks, the pineapple flavor tasted sweetly synthetic. I am always on a mission to find the best chile relleno...I haven't just yet. The poblano pepper was possibly battered and frozen ahead which I could taste. I read a prior review that the guest enjoyed the appetizers and drinks but the entree was subpar. After dinning there, I agree.
