Just wanted to share a comparison between my experience at Mandeville and Covington Coffee Rani locations as regards the Cobb Club sandwich. I usually go to the Mandeville location but happened to go to Covington one day and their sandwich was much better, a generous portion of chicken that was so much better. I hope the Mandeville location improves or I may have to go to Covington more often.

Probably nice place for coffee (if u dont need a refill) an muffin or something.
Breakfast was beyond horrible...fried eggs needed a knife to cut, whatever was supposed to be toast was so hard u could throw it through the window forget about the biscuit...frozen in the can would have been better...ham 2 paper thin slices--bacon over cooked but cut as thin as the ham..didnt rate the service because its self serve ..get your own silverware etc
$28 ...it should have been free...

Love the menu, the service and the location. I like that they gave indoor and outdoor seating and that this restaurant can make this little strip mall location look so warm and inviting. I always every meal I have ever ordered. I frequently order take out here as well and they are always fast and accurate with the orders.

I just moved here and was excited to find a new go-to café. The awesome reviews for this place got me excited to check it out, but my visit was kind of a letdown.
My grandma and I waited over 45 minutes for our food which was just a chicken sandwich and some avocado hummus toast. I get that things can get crazy during busy times, but it was super frustrating to see multiple people who showed up way after us get their food within 10 to 15 minutes while we were still waiting. Mistakes happen, so I wasn’t too upset. I politely waved down one of the staff members bringing out dishes to see if she could check on our order but she wasn’t very friendly and didn’t even acknowledge that we’d been overlooked.
Also, a heads-up: if you order anything “garnished” with alfalfa sprouts, ask for them on the side or skip them. My plate was 90% sprouts and 10% of the actual meal.
I really wanted to love this place based on the reviews but it was really disappointing.

Horrible customer service, you’re just a number here. 45 minutes for a simple take out order. Cashier hands me boxes, places bag on top of order and says “here you go”, basically you do my job. Forgets drinks, doesn’t carefully check any of the food or order which has dietary restrictions. Then has the gall to look at me like I’m the problem when I call her out on the poor service.

Do yourself a favor and skip the madhouse, or get the Gen Z glaze from workers who never got trained in customer service.

Kudos to the shift lead or manager who had to step in because to go cashier couldn’t handle a simple situation she created.

We enjoyed the Jamaican jerk chicken salad, croissant club sandwich,Ranni Poke salad,the Cuban sandwich and everything is always consistently delicious.

Really enjoyed the Cuban sandwich and Blueberry cobbler cheesecake with the strawberry hibiscus tea. Nice atmosphere.
