Very disappointing! Ordered the fried catfish basket and the fish was not completely cooked and the sauce had a horrible taste. The response was “we can recook the catfish!”

My husband wasn't able to eat or drink anything... Soda was flat, bacon was rubbery and had a bad taste to it - like it was old, biscuit tasted like soap and the eggs were not good either... My shrimp and grits were good but the shrimp had tails on and I had to dig thru grits to get tails off... The waitress was apologetic and I kinda feel bad for her having to serve that food... Only 2 other people in the whole restaurant so I guess we should have known ?

Something is very wrong with how food is prepared here. It was just awful, which I hate to say because it's New Orleans location is so good.First, the good: Atmosphere is kinda cool. Eggs over medium were freshly cooked.Now the bad: Nothing else was freshly cooked. The hash browns looked (and tasted like) they had been REHASHED serveral times over, and had an underlying taste of old fried meat. Bacon was hard and chewy so I suspect it must've been sitting for hours. And my goodness, they can't even make a good biscuit...dry and it tasted off! My coffee was just warm enough at first sip but after that got cold too fast...also had an "off flavor". Waitress never asked if I wanted a top off and I was the only diner in the restaurant. If she had I would've asked for a different cup and a freshly made brew. Finally, there was an underlying taste of liquid dish detergent in the food, like the cup/plate were't rinsed properly. I couldn't finish my meal and left feeling disgusted with the whole thing. The fact that no one else was eating here between 11:30am - noon should have been a red flag!

The servers Kylee and Tara are the best! We had so much fun with them! The food was very good and if a drink isn't available, they will improvise and make your experience great!

I used to enjoy coming to this place but it’s going to be a long time before I go back. We entered and it only had a few customers. All of the tables in middle were empty but hadn’t been cleaned. Two booths were in the same condition. We wanted to watch the parade on the TV, so I cleaned a table myself. Three employees behind the bar just watched me. 10 minutes to get menus that were stained and we joked about them. A few minutes to get our drinks to the table. Then our waitress disappeared and the other three behind the bar chatting and their phones couldn’t be bothered. It was clear we were wanting assistance, made eye contact, etc - nothing. The tables still were not cleared, people on the way out made a comment to each other how bad the service was. I decided we were leaving. My girl told them we were leaving due to the wait and offered to pay but the apologized and at least had the decency to not ask us to pay.

Something was off because I've been here before and it was good. The food was just awful. I hate giving bad reviews but this visit deserves it. The taste of the burnt bacon in my omelet is going to be with me all day. My daughter had bacon strips that were still so soft it was not edible. Gross honestly.

We waited over an hour and 20 minutes to get our food and all we ordered was biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict. Everyone in the restaurant did not have their food either . It was bizarre and it ruined our whole Saturday as it was a special occasion. The waitress was sweet as can be. It was definitely not her fault, but this place needs to just shut down immediately everybody in the restaurant was complaining. We overheard someone else saying that they would never be coming back here it’s been their experience the last several times. they have applications everywhere because they’re so embarrassed to come to work here. I don’t even cook and I could have fed the whole restaurant with the time that it took. It was giving us a panic attack sitting there for so long starving.

Great food! My husband and I ordered breakfast and both dishes were delicious. Bloody Mary was well made, just the right amount of kick. We were told it is under new management and the food is even better than before. We highly recommend checking it out!

Poor experience from the moment we stepped in the door, hostess greeted us with a cold" how many" followed by "sit anywhere". After we sat at a wet table we tried to get some napkins to wipe the table and the busser didn't acknowledge us. We then proceeded to wait 15 minutes in silence, no one ever came over to us. Extremely disappointed.

The Nestor’s Burrito is so good it’ll make ya slap ya mama. That being said, my mom says I need to find a new place to live.
