Great local bar with an awesome atmosphere in an incredible sunset view. The owners have done a great job of restoring the place and getting it back open after multiple floods and storms. If you're looking for a place to relax on the lakefront in Mandeville and enjoy a good drink this is the one you must check out.
Don's on the lake has a refreshed vibe thanks to owner and manager Kathy. It's a locals hangout with decent views of Lake Pontchatrain during the day. The back is open to the patio which makes it spacier and provides a breath of fresh air. Service is decent. They do not serve food. Drinks only.
Great location on the lakefront of Mandeville and it's a nice place to visit. The drinks are over priced, several other places walking distance with cheaper drinks. 1 Miller lite and a 1800 with soda was $18, too much, but that might be fine to others.You have to grab the attention of the bartender for acknowledgement.
