Our server Joie waited on us quickly and got our drinks to us in no time. The mimosas were generously poured and ice cold.
I ordered over-easy eggs and crispy bacon - they were both perfectly done, and also on the table very fast. My husband loved his big homemade biscuit.
My only complaints were that the restaurant's floors felt a bit sticky under our feet and our table hadn't been completely wiped off. But Joie took care of that as soon as she came.
Overall, a delicious breakfast and great service! With two $5 mimosas, our 2 full breakfasts totaled about $35.

This place is a nicer looking Fat Spoon. The atmosphere is less utilitarian than others. My hot sausage poboy was nicely done and flavorful and fries appeared to be battered and very crispy. My wife's eggs Benedict on a biscuit was tasty but over cooked. On this day, service was so so.
This was our second time here. Overall it's a nice place and we will be back again.

I was truly disappointed in service and quality of food at Fat Spoon this morning (11/09/24). I am usually very satisfied with the food at Fat Spoon. This morning the omelet came out burnt. Black marks burnt, not just well done. The toast was also very over done with black marks on it as well. I could break off enough to the toast to eat it but the omelet was inedible. At the beginning of the meal, I had to flag down a bus boy to find our waitress as I had not seen her since she dropped and dashed. When she finally came to our table, I showed her how the omelet was burnt, her response, "That is no bueno." (She was not Hispanic). I asked for bacon to not hold the rest of my party up waiting for a new omelet to be made. I ate the bacon and toast, and I personally removed the omelet from my plate. My friend's eggs were almost under-cooked, and her toast looked like plain bread. I flagged our waitress down again to ask for a refill on coffee but never was offered a refill on my empty water glass. When the bill came, I was surprised to find the price of the omelet on the bill. I flagged her down again to ask her about the item. She said she would check on it as she huffed away. She returned with a discount of $5 saying the rest was to cover the bacon and toast ($8). My friend picked up the check and was charged a service fee for using her card. I know this has become standard practice in many businesses, but they usually explain this before charging your credit card so that you will be aware of the expense. There was no explanation. The bathroom was clean but there was no toilet paper on the rolls in one of the stalls, just a roll sitting on the back of the toilet. The paper towels were not loaded in the dispenser but just sitting on the counter. Before this visit, I would have recommended this restaurant whole-heartedly but now I am not so sure. No Bueno, as the waitress would say......
