Hormel chili = enchilada sauce literally. This is sysco food heated up… not good… zero effort when you can’t even open a can of real enchilada sauce and use hormel chili instead on my industrially made enchilada, filled with wax-cheese.
No excuse in SE La for this “cuisine”. Try harder… or just try.
2 stars bc service was ok and dog friendly.

LOVE this place and GREAT food and employees!!!!

This was my first time here, and right away the atmosphere felt welcoming. The décor is colorful and inviting, and the staff were friendly and polite. The outdoor patio was beautiful too — I especially loved the water fountain.

Now, onto the main event: the food. I ordered the beef burrito topped with queso, along with rice, refried beans, chips, and salsa. The burrito was flavorful, with well-seasoned beef, and the queso complemented it perfectly. The beans were creamy with just a touch of cheese, and the rice was solid and satisfying. But the salsa really stood out — it had a nice sweetness from the tomatoes, great flavor overall, and just the right little kick.

All in all, this is a great local restaurant with a welcoming vibe and food that hits the spot. I loved it.

My friend and I stopped in for dinner.
Excellent service, we ordered an appetizer and 2 meals. Several wait staff checked in on us to see if we needed anything. Plus I had the banana margaritas first time, instant hit.
Appetizer was a sample platter of several items, very filling. Took half home. I ordered the spicy shrimp, very tasty, heads up the the peppers are Hot. Yumdilisious!
My friend ordered the chicken Fajitas.
Again to-go boxes. Very generous meals.
Reasonably priced, competitive.
Also had live music that night. Guitarist.

Best Family Mexican restaurant in Mandeville!!! My coworkers and I go here weekly. We work close by. Super sweet owners and staff. Great prices and delicious food.

My husband and I ordered our food to go $ 44.00 and full of grease he ordered the shrimp casedella and he had to pour the grease out of this container only had 6 shrimp for $ 20.00 my taco had so much grease the taco shell was soggy we will never go back

We were greeted immediately by very friendly staff. Our orders were taken very quickly & the food was delicious. This was my first visit, but not the last.

The service was exceptional. I prefer more spice/flavor in my Mexican food. Adding the salsa gave the food the flavor I craved.

Maybe a bit harsh to rate poor but in comparison to other Mexican eateries it was poor. Got the lunch burrito plate. Received a plain,dull presentation of the burritos and obligatory beans and rice. Might have been the most bland meal ever, tasteless.

Grilled shrimp taco salad is where it's at! Owner is so sweet! I was in there awaiting a job interview around the corner. The owner was so friendly, I'll definitely be back!

We are originally from South Texas so we know really good Tex Mex food. A lot of places in the New Orleans area say “TexMex” but have no idea what that means at all!! They still make a very South American style food. This place actually serves a texas tamale and puts a beef con carne gravy on top of the enchiladas and tamales like they do in Texas, not a gross red sauce! The George’ nachos were crispy and delicious with fajita meat on top. We had the Special Mexican dinner plates that gave you a little taste of everything and was under $15.00!!! They even did a special cheese enchilada for us instead of a beef one. Great outdoor patio area as well. The strawberry margaritas were great too. Love this place and will be back again and again!!?
