We ate here with family for lunch We all had lunch specials pizza and salad, calzone and salad. Plenty of food for the money! The only negative and it’s a small one or two… the croutons were very hard and I would have liked the pizza cooked just a minute longer. Other than that it’s a great little place.

Place an order over the phone at 6:30 on Saturday was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. Came in at 7:20 order was lost. Had to wait 40 more minutes for order to be ready. They did offer any kind of refund or something off. Not good customer service at all. This is my favorite pizza but after that service it will be hard to come back.

The veggie pizza was good. We also ordered spinach and artichoke dip. The waitress asked if we wanted it before or with the pizza. I said before. The pizzas came 25 minutes later. The appetizer came a few minutes after the pizzas. We asked for a pizza box for our leftovers which equaled 1 pizza. She said ' we can't just give out pizza boxes.' We had to get 2 Styrofoam boxes each and 2 Styrofoam boxes for the spinach artichoke dip. Not sure we will be returning.

We used the menu on their website... the prices were not updated so imagine the sticker shock. The pizzas were not even that good compared to Dominoes down the street for less. The lady told us it would be 40 mins, when we got there out pizzas were luke warm and they weren't even busy... this is just our experience and to warn people about the not updated prices on the website. We loved the one in Baton Rouge and Slidell years ago and wanted to relive fond memories upon passing by it randomly one day.

Some of their pizzas are good like the artichoke/veggie pizza. But the pepperoni I had was not good. They put the pepperoni under the cheese so they were not cooked or crispy.

My favorite pizza place ever. I'm from Mandeville but I moved to England 5 years ago and I miss this place more than I can say. I've just been reminiscing about the spinach and artichoke dip with my English husband and decided to give a review now because Italian Pie deserves it. Best pizza with a perfect cheese/sauce/crust ratio AND fantastic sandwiches; my two favs are the greek roasted chicken and the pizza sub, which I think they have re-named the Italian special. If you are ever in the area, do yourself a favor and dine-in or get it delivered and don't sleep on the spinach dip ;)
