Had a 12 top celebrating my nephews birthday. Staff was amazing and the food was even better. We’ve visited this restaurant many times and will continue to celebrate birthdays there for my niece and nephew for years to come. It’s has become a tradition!!
Small portions for high prices. Average to lower food quality. Will not be back.

My mom ordered nachos and specifically said meat and cheese only, the girl give us our food with everything on it , tomato,lettuce,onion, etc. my mom said we asked for meat and cheese only and she says I could get you one to go expecting us to pay for one to go and for stuff we didn’t want, then when she comes to pick up our food she says, “ are yall done picking at it” she definitely didn’t get a tip,the other workers and the place was good, it’s just her

We frequent La Carreta in Mandeville because the food is good and the atmosphere fun. The kids love to come here and usually enjoy themselves as much as the adults. On this visit we took advantage of the St Tammany Taste of Summer, which offered multiple courses for $25. It was a great bargain. We enjoyed the options and each of us tried the redfish, the chicken and the shrimp along with other food choices. The salad course was especially plentiful and tasty. Also enjoyed the dessert course which was a good flan. Lots of food to bring home. Will return soon
