The restaurant is never clean. Food is not bad but customer service is horrible. Also the broccoli cheddar soup looks and tastes like throw up. Won’t be back….

The building doesn't seem to hold heat as it was pretty chilly in there. Service was ok,but I asked for my croissant to be warmed and it wasn't warm at all.

Very welcoming, helpful staff!!! We arrived with a very large group. They assigned us to an area somewhat separate from the main dining- pushed tables & chairs together so we could sit together & visit. Very nice!!!!

This place is amazing! It had been years since I had really good French fare. Fresh baked bread fresh made deserts I recommend creme brulee it was amazing. The French onion soup was out of this world. Very clean atmosphere and love the fireplace 😍. The employees are so informative and polite it was our first time there and they were willing to help and make our experience awesome.

Omg I love this place so much, it's my new favorite place, the service was amazing they are so so sweet and they care about your experience so much. And don't get me started on the good o m g the food is to die for, they don't charge nearly enough for the amount of food they give and the freshness and tastiness of it all is immaculate. You definitely have to get the creme brulee that was my first time having it and I am already craving some more. 100/10 I definitely recommend coming here and I will absolutely be returning again. You guys are amazing!!!

La Madeleine is always such a great experience! The crème brûlée and croissants are absolutely delicious — fresh and full of flavor. The chicken friand with wild rice is my favorite dish, and the Chicken La Madeleine is also a must-try. My daughter got the Monte Cristo croffle and she loved it! Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere is always warm and inviting.

Very disappointed with service. Upon advising the manager, he shrugged me off. I contacted corporate to let them know about the issue.

everytime i come here the service is always amazing, the food is always good and the atmosphere is great. but today did not live up to my expectations. we came in, ordered, and got our food, but we figured we would try the new “refreshers” so we ordered them, and ended up sitting at the table for 20 minutes, FINISHED our food. and still not have received our drinks. the employees weren’t doing much either, some were talking orders but most where just standing there. this is ridiculous.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years without any issues. The last 2 times we went it was absolutely horrible. New management has completely ruined this once great place to eat. The GM is rude and condescending when I placed my order, the bread was hard, my roast beef was nothing but fat and they served my kids lays potato chips. They used to love the salt and pepper chips, now it’s lays. I asked for croutons on my cup of soup and was told I would be charged because it does not come that way. Very very very rude, we will not be back.

Massive decline in quality. I have eaten here since I was in high school. But over the last couple of years, both the service and the food have decreased in quality. Yesterday was the worst. I got a French dip that tasted like it had cone from a gas station fridge and an egg crepe that was near burnt. And to top it off, the bread slices we got were stale, and the 3 drops of jelly in the cups they offered couldn't fix it. I should have demanded a refund, but I was hungry. It makes me sad that a place with so many fond memories has become such a disappointment.

Some might consider it pricey. OK for one or two, but soon mounts up. Special children's menu, and kids eat free on Tuesdays with paying adults. The last two times we were there we paid $34 & $45 after tip. Chicken and mushroom hand pie, or friand, is a bit expensive at $10 each, but good flavor and it comes with a mushroom cream sauce on the side, so the puff pastry stays crisp and does not get soggy. Quiche is good at $7. One of the least expensive sweet items is a Bran Muffin at $3.29 or so, croissants $4+ a regular coffee around $3.30. Small Latte is $5, and more depending on size. They have a breakfast menu also. Separate doors for in dining and to go. It's roomy inside, also has outside seating but summer in Mandeville is brutal, very muggy. But ok to hang out with a coffee and a pastry or cookie.
