LaLou's was great for brunch with my cousins. We were a party of 8, called ahead, but still had a bit of a wait. The food was very good. Service was OK. We did need to ask for drink refills since they were so busy. The place, itself, is very warm and charming.
My new favorite restaurant in Mandeville. Staff was wonderful and professional, and our waitress was amazing (young woman with blonde hair). I brought my dog since they allow them if they are well behaved/you sit outside and she even brought him a bowl of cold water. The pancakes were the best I’ve ever had, the portions were huge, prices were reasonable, and the restaurant itself had a really and cute relaxing vibe. Absolutely recommend.
Absolutely phenomenal place. Cool. Authentic. Delicious. Just all around amazing. The owners are fabulously kind and hospitable people. The food is beyond Delicious and the portions are so big you don't need to eat for the rest of the day after eating a meal here. Its so hard so choose a favourite but I would have to say the shrimp grits, the redfish grill, the tamles benedict, boudin benedicts, and the crab omelette were the best. And for sweet the French toast, the sweet...
