Perfectly boiled crawfish and shrimp that peel easy and have good flavors.

Crawfish were bland and dirty. Ordered potatoes and garlic and they weren’t even cooked fully. Heard good things about them hopefully this isn’t the norm

Lamas is the best seafood in mandeville hands down great crawfish and fried seafood I come all the way from Slidell to eat

The red grouper was fresh and tasted delicious. Also so purchased some cracklings and pickled jalapeño. Also very good. Would definitely stop there again.

Strange layout, food had no flavor and staff was not friendly at all. Decor wasn't bad.

Lama’s Seafood Market and Eatery has been in business for two years. Located in Mandeville, LA on Hwy 22. There is a seafood market and restaurant on site. They have a number of options on their menu. I decided to try their cup of gumbo and half a shrimp poboy combo meal. The gumbo was very good. The roux was light and not overly spicy. The shrimp on the poboy were of a nice size and fried just right. The combo meal was just perfect for me for lunch. The building is nice and spacious. What I did enjoy was the background music being played which was blues rock. Overall enjoyed Lama’s and suggest give it a try if you live or venture to Mandeville, LA.

Food was fresh, delicious, and very filling! Shrimp poyboy was overflowing with shrimp. The fried shrimp, catfish, and onion rings were battered perfectly. We will definelty be ordering here again!

The assistant helped me early this morning, before normal operating times, to facilitate selling me Soft Shell Crabs I needed before leaving town... as I was headed out! My boys were looking forward to the crabs. I wish I'd remembered her name, but both She and the SSC's were just great!Thanks Again!Mike

I am born and raised in south Louisiana and have eaten seafood my whole life—Lama’s Seafood and Eatery is without a doubt the best shrimp, catfish and oysters anywhere!! Best shrimp poboy ever! My husband loves the meatballs! I highly recommend this eatery. Love the staff and atmosphere. Very casual. The boiled shrimp in the market are a weekly treat for us. Best flavor and always nice and big. They also have the best tartar sauce—the reason to eat fried seafood! I love this place! If you haven’t been, you don’t know what you are missing. Oh, the bisque is fabulous!!!
