Lama’s Seafood Market and Eatery has been in business for two years. Located in Mandeville, LA on Hwy 22. There is a seafood market and restaurant on site. They have a number of options on their menu. I decided to try their cup of gumbo and half a shrimp poboy combo meal. The gumbo was very good. The roux was light and not overly spicy. Food was fresh, delicious, and very filling! Shrimp poyboy was overflowing with shrimp. The fried shrimp, catfish, and onion rings were battered perfectly. We will definelty be ordering here again!
The assistant helped me early this morning, before normal operating times, to facilitate selling me Soft Shell Crabs I needed before leaving town... as I was headed out! My boys were looking forward to the crabs. I wish I'd remembered her name, but both She and the SSC's were just great!Thanks Again!Mike
