My wife and I love this place…. come with a big appetite, because most dishes are too much for us to eat in one sitting… The french toast is always terrific, eggs benedicts in several styles are my favorite, and many other unique dishes to choose from. There is a British car club that shows up for breakfast, I believe on Saturdays, and the servers are all very friendly, knowledgeable and will take good care of you.
As far as the rare negative reviews… I didn’t see anywhere in them that they contacted the restaurant to resolve their complaint… so I wouldn’t put much stock into them. In fact the most recent I saw, that person has about 99% negative reviews…. a classic tactic for someone who tries to get freebies from businesses by leaving bad reviews.

Liz is an absolute gem, and her love and care are evident in every cheerful slogan and every delicious bite. You might have to wait, but it's worth it- if you like to eat, you're going to love Liz's!
The Big Easy Benedict, the crabmeat grilled cheese, and the eggs sardou Benedict are each a great place to start.
Vegetarian options: Most things on the menu are meaty, but many can be easily modified. The eggs sardou Benedict is my favorite brunch dish anywhere, and it's vegetarian.

My friend and I stopped here for breakfast on our drive back home to Arkansas. This place is AMAZING!! The definition of Louisiana southern hospitality, these people are so sweet and this was some of the best food east of the Mississippi!
Make sure you speak with someone that can understand their own menu.

Our office orders here often. Today we ordered (asked for over the phone) - Two biscuits and gravy, 2 scrambled eggs and non crispy bacon, and a side of grits. Bacon was so hard it almost broke a tooth. Half a container of gravy for one biscuit, is not even enough for both sides of the biscuit. Scrambled eggs- there are definitely not 2 eggs in this container. What is the deal? You charge top dollar and the food is less than sub par. Its cold when we get it and it is supposedly fresh food?
Will stop ordering from here as our money is clearly going for the containers, not the food. Very sad and discomforting. This is a cool spot to be but the consistency and value just isnt there.

Fun place for breakfast or lunch. Extremely good service, very attentive without being pushy. Owner Liz is a real delight. Food is very reasonably priced and very filling. I had the grits and grillades. My friend had the baguette french toast. We both brought leftovers home.
Parking: Ample parking
Kid-friendliness: Very family oriented restaurant.

Si g amazing food. Totally worth the drive over Lake Ponchatrain Bridge.
I've lived in the area a long time, and every time I've driven by this place has been packed. So when a friend suggested it for lunch, I jumped at the opportunity! The service was exceptional. Our waitress and her trainee were super friendly and personable. The atmosphere was cute and welcoming. And the food was delicious (my friend had the roast beef poboy and I had the debris Benedict). We will definitely be back to try everything else on the menu!
