GREAT place to have a comfy, loving meal! It’s was me and my fiancé’s first time and we’ll absolutely be back. Little touch of that Nola hospitality in beautiful mandeville! Liz is the sweetest soul! 💕

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We’re Aggies visiting from Texas for the LSU game, and this spot absolutely blew us away! The breakfast was incredible, but what really made it special was the amazing service. Donna was so kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Liz, the owner, was just as wonderful — you can tell she truly cares about her guests. The whole place has such a welcoming, homey feel that we didn’t want to leave. If you’re in the area, this is the place to start your day. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town! 💜🤍

I won’t pipe down: I want people who endorse this business to know they’re endorsing management who berates, insults, belittles and screams at their staff. Specifically shoe aka shoemaker aka the general manager, I watched him tear down a 16 year old girl working her weekend job to the point of tears. And it wasn’t an unusual occurrence by any means. There is a way to get your point across without talking down to, raising your voice or condescending to your employees like they are children. It just crushes morale because nobody wants to walk into a workplace like that. Someone should have been brought in who knows how to manage in a professional, effective and courteous manner a long time ago. Mark my words it is a matter of time before someone records him and the way he talks to staff routinely and there will be a massive public black lash, yes it is that heinous, the way he speaks and behaves.

Best Breakfast in Louisiana! Liz was so sweet and the staff were great. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by everyone with a smile. The food was excellent and surprisingly cheap. The atmosphere was full of love and warmth. Liz even gave us some merch for the road.

Walked in on Sunday morning with a group of 12, they didn't bat an eye ! 10min later we were seated and thank to the other very kind large group moving to the smaller table at our server's request to we could all fit at one easier. Food fabulous service same, and yes Liz indeed made an appearance and made sure to say hi and handshake to all. Have been thru town many and passed by , sorry now we did and won't again!! And maybe she should train the folks up at Spoke n Barrel Eatery by the trailhead they need a LOT of work!! all aspects . Thanks to all and Liz ! will return next camping trip in December at FB

I ordered Liz’s Goolosh with cheese grits, eggs over medium, and added the blackened shrimp — absolutely amazing. The eggs were cooked just right, the cheese grits were creamy and full of flavor, and the shrimp brought just the right spice to balance it all out. The roast beef debris and gravy tied everything together into one of the best breakfast plates I’ve had in a long time. If you’re at Liz’s in Mandeville, this is the way to order it.

Berry french toast to die for. Biscuits are good. Gravy could use some work, but their debris topping is great! You can’t beat the sweet side of their breakfast menu.

In town for a wedding and we loved it so much we came back the next day! From the moment you walk in the door to Liz herself coming to check on you this spot was so warm and welcoming, truly amazing service. The food came out fast and amazing. The pancake was the best i have ever had, thick and fluffy with a buttery crunch to the outside absolute perfection. Everything else was great eggs, bacon, biscuits, delicious!!!
