Located in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking. It is pretty easy to find. I came with a couple of coworkers as we like to get together for dinner every once in a while. We walk in and are quickly seated and asked what beverages we wanted. All three of us ordered appetizers and only two of them were brought out. The wings were good but only mildly tangy, not really spicy. The dip was bland. We never got the fried ravioli, but that is probably for the best and we did not get charged for it. One of my coworkers got the fried fish plate and came no where close to finishing it. The other got the steak and also came no where close to finishing it. I got the pasta and shrimp and my stomach started revolting before we were done. The total price was reasonable, and they were quick on the drink refills. Everything inside seemed clean and well laid out. I am not sure I will be back.

First time in 15 years and now I remember why it’s been that long. Their food is best suited for the non discriminatory palate. Not to sound like a jerk (which my wife thinks I definitely AM) but it’s just a BAD take on classic New Orleans food. While you are indeed NOT in New Orleans, the bread is stale, the wine glasses are unwashed, the table top is sticky… there is just NOTHING outstanding about this place. And you SMELL like the place for hours afterwards. I hate to be so negative but if it weren’t for its reputation from the joint on Canal, it would be a “wannabe New Orleans seafood and hamburger “ joint. Sorry…it’s true.

Went to Mandina's in Mandeville this week. Was looking forward to have some Trout Meunière. Alas, this was not the place to have it. Meunière is prepared with butter and lemon. What I was served was a nicely fried fish with a brown gravy. Very disappointed. It seemed like there was only one waitress for about six occupied tables. Service was slow. Will not be back.

We ordered to go seafood platter and onion rings. T I could see the uncooked flour which the Onion rings had been dredged in and no seasoning at all. The fried food was average with exception of the fish, which wasn't catfish but cheap swi (spelling?) fish probably from Japan when catfish was expected. I only expect the quality I'm paying for.

Been a customer for years. The food and cocktail was the absolute worst I’ve ever had in my entire life. How do you mess a a cocktail twice. Tasted rancid like something spoiled in there and the food was just as terrible. Could not eat it at all. Went home leaving everything on my plate. Something is seriously wrong with the food and drinks. Yikes!!! I’m shocked how terrible. Will never return again Would not recommend this place unless you like terrible service and food and drinks, and I never usually ever leave comments but was so bad felt like I needed to before you waste your time money and taste buds

Absolutely disappointing! My family has eaten many times at the restaurant in New Orleans, we were so excited to eat here for the first time for my daughter’s birthday. The waitress was clearly loaded. First we ordered our salad with ranch dressing and no tomatoes. Both salads had tomato’s and one didn’t have any salad dressing at all. At this point it was no big deal. I ordered turtle soup as an appetizer to be brought out before the main course and my kids ordered the chicken strip plate. All of our food was brought out with no sign of the turtle soup so I asked her to please bring me some with sherry. It was then we found out she didn’t even put in my 5 year old daughter’s chicken plate. So we had to sit there for over 10 minutes and explain to a hungry 5 year old why everyone had food but her. She comes back with the turtle soup finally with no sherry and at this point I’m over it. Food was average at best. Best thing we had was the garlic bread honestly. A complete disgrace to the Mandina reputation in south Louisiana. I hope they get it fixed.

We recently ordered a delivery from Mandina's restaurant, and I was impressed! We ordered the Boneless Fried Chicken Breast with Potatoes and Vegetables, and it was awesome. The food arrived piping hot, as if it had just been prepared. The chicken was crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside. The potatoes and vegetables were perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection.Highly recommended!
