Me and my kid went there. Ordered a kids shrimp for here and a combo poboy for me. Literally after ordering they bring out a kids basket out for my kid and is cold shrimp and fries. 1 minute. I get a combo poboy and has a thin piece of catfish on one piece and 4 shrimp on the other bread. IT WAS ALL BREAD!!!!! CHARGED ME NORMAL PRICE FOR BREAD. If you want a good meal, go to Mandeville seafood or Ponchartrain poboys. At least you will get your money's worth. Northlake will take your money and run.

Hated to leave a bad review, but damn… just look up at the ceiling. It’s covered in water stains and what looks like some serious microbial growth. Pretty toxic-looking place.

The Food sucked I told them one thing and they gave me something else in ordered a hot ham and cheese poboy and they put it on a damn bun.. then when I told them they put it on a half of a poboy not a whole and it cost me 13.99 for a half of a poboy... and they did the same to my wife... so the bill was $28 for two 6in poboys .... I say NEVER GO THERE!!

Best Boiled Crabs in the area! I intentionally drive past two “boiled seafood” restaurants and grocery’s that offer “boiled crabs” to buy Northlake’s Crabs. Never have the Crabs been mushy/over-boiled/re-dipped/twice boiled; rather they have always been lumpy, well spiced/seasoned, and fat/full.

This was my first time here. Had the soft shell crab poboy for $20. It was phenomenal. Probably the best soft shell crab poboy I've had to date.
They charge $20 for a shrimp platter with 10 small shrimp. Don’t waste your money Mandeville Seafood is right down the street with much better portions.
