I'm from Houston and drove to Louisiana for Labor Day weekend. I heard Odelias was good so drove 45 min from our hotel to mandeville to try out their lunch menu. Got there at 1:45pm and saw that they closed at 2:30pm.
We Ordered right away. We ordered the truffle fries and chicken sandwich.
The truffle fries came out at 2:07pm, and asked the waiter, is the fries suppose to be burnt? He proceeded to say yeah, they all come out like that.
So i decided to take a look on google pics and yelp and to my surprise, other peoples fries looked nicely cooked and not a burnt fry in sight. I decided not to complain because i felt like the waiter just wanted us to get out the door at 2:30 since that's the time they closed. The chicken sandwich was good though so i give it a 2 stars. I wouldn't come back because of the service but i still gave the guy 20% tip because i don't believe any waiters can live off of less. Just wish he would have given us better service and not lie. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice

We chose this adorable place for a family “back to school” brunch on a Sunday. The atmosphere is incredible and we were all super excited as we perused the menu. For starters we got the Parmesan truffle fries and the deviled eggs. The fries were one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The pimento cheese deviled egg was yummy as were the two other deviled egg offerings. We enjoyed very pricey cocktails that came decorated with real flowers. Everything is presented beautifully. Sadly, our salads and entrees were disappointing. I had the eggs florentine and while the eggs were supposed to be poached, they were well done. Very average. My daughter was excited about the chicken club, but said it lacked flavor and barely ate half. The desserts were delicious, the crème brûlée being one of the best I’ve had. We wanted to love this place, but sadly did not. The service was fine, nothing spectacular. If you go, stick to appetizers and cocktails and you won’t be disappointed.

Ok I've been on North shore in mande ille for 1 year now and I've finally found the best burger on this side of the lake. Their brisket burger with smoked Gouda is that burger. Hands down. No contenders.

I enjoyed having breakfast here and the interior decor is so fun and cute. The bar seats are not so comfortable but other than that enjoyed it so much. Small place with limited seating that fills up fast.

Six of us met there for a birthday lunch. We were crammed into a very tight space with a curtain separating us from the next table. I could not adjust my chair without banging against the table on the other side of the curtain. The music was playing so loudly that we could not have a conversation. I ordered the Italian salad, and it was not good. It was made up of lettuce, tasteless salami, and cherry tomatoes. The dressing was a horrible SWEET champagne vinaigrette. Awful! The dressing did not go with the salad. I advised the waitress that the salad was not good, but she merely shrugged and walked off. I will never go back. The food is way too expensive to warrant a return visit.

Would not recommend. Food wasn’t worth the price. And It’s $5 PER A COKE, they are small and no one informed us it was per a glass. Will never be returning. Shouldn’t have been $80 for two people. Over priced and not worth it.

The atmosphere is picture worthy but the service is not worthy enough. The appetizer was so much better than the actual meal and they will rush you to leave. Which is very unpleasant. I don’t know if I will recommend this place

My best friend and I had a girls’ day out here, and while the place itself is gorgeous, it is extremely overpriced. From the moment we sat down, we noticed a lack of transparency in pricing.
When asked if we wanted water or sparkling water, we assumed the sparkling water was complimentary, only to find out later that it was an additional $5, with no mention of the charge upfront. We also ordered burger sliders and assumed the toppings (pimento cheese and grilled onions) were included, but they were an extra $2 each. The same thing happened with the Parmesan fries, our waiter asked if we wanted garlic dipping sauce, making it seem like it was included, but again, it was an extra charge that was not disclosed.
Additionally, the owners were present but never came by to greet us or check on our experience, which felt unwelcoming. Given the lack of transparency and the overall experience, we won’t be returning. It was just a very odd and disappointing visit.

This great gem tucked into a strip mall, is incredible. The decor is great, the food is amazing, the service was top notch, and the price was fair. I will be back again, guaranteed.

I really wanted to give the restaurant 5 stars but I really don’t like the policy regarding reservations. I can understand charging a card for a no-show but people a part of my party canceled day of and the hostess (who I believe was the owner) still said I would be charged. I think that rule is unfair considering my circumstance! I could not control the people that canceled on me.
I ordered the earl gray with lavender and honey, the truffle Parmesan fries, and the french toast. I thought it all tasted great! My husband ate the sliders and felt the chicken was unseasoned/under-seasoned and the BBQ to be plain.
Given my experience, I would come back but I would not book a reservation with them.
