Went there for lunch for the first time ordered veal cutlet poyboy, eggplant fries, fries and special. I noticed as I was waiting on my food the guys bringing out the food were bringing plates out and their fingers were touching something on customers plates. When mine was brought out my sandwich was made wrong and the guy who brought my food out well my sandwich was touching his shirt! The girl came and asked if I ordered the veal I said yes I had just asked for it to be dressed...
They make one of the best Ferdie Po-boys ever! Never had anything bad from here. Very good place to eat (if you find a table) the food is so good they're always busy. I always call ahead and order pick up from them to avoid the crowd. One bad thing I can say about Pontchartrain is they're closed on the weekends.

Had the pleasure of stopping by this staple of a gem for the first time while parents were in town visiting. We ordered onion rings, crab cake pasta, roast beef Po-Boy, soft shell crab special which comes with fried shrimp and a bowl of gumbo, and the hot burger which is a hot sausage patty and hamburger patty put together. All of our food was delicious. Especially the crab cakes. You can tell it's fresh crabmeat and not artificial. You have to place your order at counter...
