Went through the drive through and after 20 minutes of waiting for our food we went inside. After that we had to wait another 30 until we got our food. There was constant bantering coming from the back. The service is terrible! Under no circumstances should it take 50 minutes to receive food from fast food or any restaurant for that matter.

Consistently one of the worst Popeyes locations. It comes nowhere close to “fast food”. This is clearly a management problem. I just wasted 15 minutes attempting to purchase a chicken sandwich. I ended up walking out after an “engagement” with one of the employees. I simply asked if we could not get some help on the counter by opening up another register. This was on a Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm. Only 1 register was open. I had 3 people ahead of me. There were at least two other people loitering in the lobby waiting on their food. They were there waiting when I got there, and when I walked out. . The employee proceeded to give me a speech that she was filling the orders and the 1 counter person was taking the orders. She proceeded to tell that I could go through the drive thru for “faster service”. That’s an absolute joke! It’s why I went inside in the first place because there is consistently nothing fast about their drive thru. Bottom line: no sale and I will never return. Simply unacceptable, and I can’t imagine a for profit business would think this lackluster performance is in any way acceptable.

By far the absolute worst Popeyes I have ever been to. It is the closest to my house so I try to go back every 3 months or so to see if things have changed, but they just get worse every time. Chicken is always old & chewy - inedible on multiple occasions, workers are rude - they won't even answer you sometimes in the drive-thru. They close whenever they want and not the time posted on the establishment or online. The other night I went there to try again & they wouldn't answer the drive-thru and when I drove around to the window, all the workers chatting and laughing, no one even looked my direction and i sat there for a few minutes before driving away. So ridiculous.

I was picking up an order here on mardi Gras eavning.The dining room had 8 of us waiting on orders, and the drive-through was full. Your first sign they are doing something right.Keep in mind this work crew gave up their night to enjoy the festival activities, so they could prepare freash hot food for every guest who chose to eat here.They were joking around with each other and having fun, putting love into what they were doing.the atmosphere and energy was welcoming and warm. All the while pumping out the orders.They could have cooked up a bunch or food in preparation for the rush after parades were finishing, but they did not. And never do. Therfore every customer truly was getting freash hot food. People complain sometimes for the wait, but then also want to complain when food is Luke warm.as though they are at wendys. It's fried chicken and fresh baked biscuits. It takes a min. You can't rush perfection. Despite one angry man who thought rules of no special orders on holidays ,didn't apply to him...the staff handle the situation superbly. The customer tried to say his kids were allergic to dark meat and need all white. Calling the staff idiots. When he is the idiot ,because all the chicken is fried in same oil. It would be like going to a seafood house and saying your allergic to fish but want some fried pickles. He was offered his money back, and apologized to for inconvenience of the company rule,and was still rude. The staff didn't let it get to them as they kept good moral and continued hustling to accommodate their customers.Much respect for the quality and hustle the crew executed like a beautiful dance on a busy night.Somethings are worth the wait, especially when those preparing the food care about what they send out. If you want fast subpar food keep wasting your money at other fast food joints. If you want food with love and soul in it,this is your place to go.Your wasting your money if you go anywhere else for fried chicken. And if you having a bad day,go inside to order. You'll see the non stop hustle it takes to send you on your way with hot delicious chicken,and you just might have a few smiles and laughs watching the team loving what they do and having fun doing it.

Best Popeyes location I’ve ever been to! I literally almost sued the Houma location for nearly killing my son and I (moldy water from cleaning machines instead of sweet tea), so I usually wouldn’t give a good review on a Popeyes. What makes this particular location the best isn’t just their fresh hot food and always actually giving the items you order but it’s specifically the AMAZING employees. They can make the most depressed person (me) leave with the biggest smile! Thank y’all, you guys are awesome!
