We tried this place a few weeks back and we were really looking forward to liking this place. Upon arrival the area is beautiful. We walked in and felt like outcasts like we weren't welcomed. We'll we ordered anyway and sat outside until we got attacked by flies and moved inside. Finally our food arrived and it was so salty we couldn't enjoy it. The only edible thing was the nachos. We left wasting close to 75 dollars on trash food and hungry.

Not a great experience. I was hoping food would be fresh and hot on a Friday night. Everything that didn't come out of a fryer was just a bit over room temperature. I had a baked potato that butter wouldn't melt in. There were cold spots in my ribs. Wife had a warm-ish bbq sandwich. We had to come inside because of the flies. Not a big deal its summer in Louisiana. But inside the vibe wasn't great with dead flies in every window sill that stood out starkly against the white paint. And still plenty of live ones inside to keep you shooing them away. I may have asked them to warm everything up if i hadn't felt the need to escape from the flies in an indoor dining room. The service was a bright spot. The bartender was attentive and friendly. Great beer selection. Theres a lot of potential here that could make Pyre into a premier spot but it just misses the mark.

Great place, and really good atmosphere. Food is ok, but the environment makes up for it.

Cool atmosphere. Staff are friendly & Courteous. BBQ was ok. The smoked brisket was a tad salty. Greasy food if you like that sort of thing. Taste was fine overall run of the mill

First time, horrible experience! Service was awful, food not worth the hype. Crazy to make people order their own food, get their own drinks then ask for a tip for staff that never speaks to you or ask how anything is. Highly do not recommend.

Just left from lunch and has to be the worst BBQ we have had. Order came and they forgot our nachos. Saw that our brisket egg rolls were not cooked all the way through and brought to the counter. They refried the egg rolls I brought back so when we got them they were filled oil and absolutely disgusting. Nachos consisted of sweet jar salsa and the only pork was a lump of pork, not even pulled. The only decent this was the child's fries and the cold beer. First and last experience.

The BEST bbq I’ve had in a long time! I wish I could do 4.5 stars because that’s more accurate. What took away from the experience was the feeling of judgement from patrons at the restaurant. Commenting on my 4 yr old, language being used, smoking in an area next to my table. Otherwise it was great, seriously amazing food.
Parking: I’m sure on a Friday or Saturday night parking could be tough but there were plenty of spots when we arrived at 5 pm
Kid-friendliness: The outside space is great, especially since we were the only ones out there for a little bit.

One a cloudy Saturday, when the place was almost empty, at 12:45 PM, we orderd a burger and potato to go. We sat at the bar, less than 5 feet from the staff that took our order. We waited for an excessive amount of time, about 30 minutes, then we approached the staff, and asked, "what happened to our order". Only to be iven the silent treatment, and handed a bag that had been sitting on the counter for a while. They were rude, ignored us, and served cold food! Will nor waste my time or money at this place again!

Pyre is a cute restaurant with a very nice outdoor patio with ample seating and tables. There is also a limited amount of indoor seating. The BBQ chicken was delicious. They also have interesting salads. We went during late afternoon and they were sold out of most of their menu. I am looking forward to going back to try some of the brisket and other menu items. The service was excellent. Even though we were sitting outside we never felt neglected. Give it a try, I think you will be quite pleased.

Great food and super friendly staff!!Cute little place with a Cozy atmosphere and lovely outside seatingSliders, gumbo, tacos and quesadillas were amazing ??Added bonus: they are pet friendly INSIDE and OUTSIDE!Prices SEEM high if you’re a first timer but once you see the amount of food on your plate, you’ll understand. They have lunch specials under $10 from 11-2 that are perfect if you want great food while on a budget.I very highly suggest Pyre if you haven’t checked them out already ☺️

Solid choices for BBQ. Their pulled pork and brisket sandwiches are great and fries are always hot. Great for a Friday night. They rotate their daiquiri flavors and there is two to pick from. It's always fun to see the new one they have.
