Dirty little dive bar. I loved it. Went in early in the day when it was quiet, but it looks like it could be VERY fun at night. The bloody mary was just what I needed. The bartender was friendly and had excellent local food recommendations.
If love blues, blues rock, rock, and especially orginal live music is your thing, you'll love this place.

Love it there there is no food unless food truck or someone cooking outside or for a game or a benefit or some kind of party like Mardi Gras...it's a neighborhood bar during the week and the best live music venue on the Northshore on the weekends. Playing the best music from all genre's but The Funky Blues has always been a Ruby's staple. It's always a happening place with good friendly folks and the best owners anyone could work for...place has been like family to me for the past 20 years...not to mention I had the pleasure and opportunity to work there for 10 years. I miss it so much but health issues prevents me from doing it anymore unless I'm asked to fill in and guest bartend for a day. If you have never had the opportunity to go there your missing out on a great place and great people. Hurry and get on down there for a cold beer, great drinks and some music. There's always some fun happening at Ruby's Roadhouse xxxoooo
