We called ahead crossing the causeway and ordered a 16” Supreme and a meat lovers Calzone to go. I attached pictures of the front from the parking lot and the bar area where we waited to pick-up our order. While waiting , only waited about 15 minutes, I had a Mango wheat beer ( picture attached). We opened the to-go boxes when we got home (picture of both attached), both are excellent!

We had a party of 4 adults and 3 kids. The appetizers were very good. We ordered a Chicago and a New York style pie. We were very disappointed with both. The crust seemed overdone. It was hard like a rock. I would have been willing to try again just in case there was a new cook or whatever, however.....The service was the deal breaker. There was one waitress to handle a Saturday evening crowd. She did an amazing job with what she was dealt. The owner however, just stood behind the counter talking on the phone. Maybe she was trying to call in extra help, not sure, but either way it was very frustrating. After we finally received the ticket, I realized there were additional charges on the tab. I went straight to the owner since the poor waitress had enough on her plate, and the owner seemed annoyed that I wasn't willing to pay for the beer that was erroneously added to our ticket. We were very disappointed considering we had read several reviews and looked forward to trying it.I hope they are able to resolve the issues but as of now, I cannot recommend.

Heard a lot about the deep dish Chicago style pizza... and now I see why! Despite the quoted 45 minute cook time, it was not an issue with great drinks and some buffalo shrimp! We ordered the small 7 inch pizza and took plenty home with us. This is a definite winner!

I absolutely love this place!! They have the best cauliflower pizza I have ever eaten. Very crispy and flavorful. The wings are also amazing. I can’t go a week without having the wings or the cauliflower pizza. This place has become a regular staple for me and my husband.

After reading about this place on “eat the boot” we (3 of us) drove an hour for Sunday funday lunch. We were warned to call ahead to order a deep dish because they take so long to cook. I called and scheduled our reservation for an hour later. Ordered a deep dish pizza and stuffed artichoke. We walk in ordered 3 blue moons with an orange and a Cesar salad and a house salad with grilled chicken and ranch. 20 minuets later. Still no pizza or beer and a Caesar salad arrives with ranch dressing. Finally the beer arrived but in Margarita goblet glasses, weird but ok. Here comes the stuffed artichoke (40 minuets) and it’s frozen in the middle. We sent it back. Still no chicken house salad but we have the ranch dressing.. smh.. pizza arrived.. was cooked but no longer hot it was just warm. No melting gooey cheese like I had hoped for from the reviews. But it was fine, average pizza.. owner walks over apologizes for the artichoke offers to give it to us for free and heat it up. We get it to go. Owner brings it back to us… we cancel the chicken salad. It still had not arrived..We were going to get desert but.. ya not now…We get the bill and the prices are higher then what is listed online. The beers were $8 a beer, and they charged us $2.25 extra for 3 orange slices. Online beer is listed at $4.50 not $8. A 14 inch cheese Pizza is listed as $30 in store it’s $34. The waitress (I guessing the kids working their are related to the owner) explain the prices online are for the Metairie location. That’s just bad business. I guess because they pour beer in a Margarita glass they think they can charge you double .. smh…In the end.. the food was average, at best. The service was terrible. You could tell the kids working their didn’t want to be there on a Sunday afternoon. Was not worth the drive from Baton Rouge to Mandeville for.

We have tried this place twice, and both times the food was awful. First time we tried the Chicago pizza, the bottom crust was hard as a rock, almist too hard to bite, and tasted like cardboard. The second time we ordered New York pizza, AWFUL!! The bread had ZERO taste, again and hard as a rock. We noticed small pinholes on the bottom making us wonder if they really make their own, but either way toppings were sparse, crust too hard, and taste was terrible. The chicken gumbo was just as awful, almost institutional with a hint of vinegar. The stuffed artichokes were good tho, so there’s that. Very disappointing.

We were roadtripping from Iowa and came across this little pizzeria. Wow. The pizza is amazing. We got the 16in pizza and breadsticks and the 3 of us have leftovers for sure. The food was delicious, fresh, and hot. Our waitress Diane, part owner, was so pleasant and her attention to her customers top notch. The other co-owner was also very attentive chatting with the locals and checking tables.Highly recommend.

Don't know if it was the owner or just a manager, but the gentleman working there was amazing. From calling asking about the pizzas, getting set up for a large group and having them get all the orders- it was a great experience. The pizza was top notch, the staff was attentive and the prices weren't too bad for the sizes/quality of what we got. Definitely will return!

Delicious!! We got a half & half deep dish pizza. Half meat lovers & half Chicken Alfredo. So delicious!!! The owner is so friendly and helpful. They have Creole Creamery ice cream as well. Definitely go try them out. If you want to, he said you could order ahead & he would have your pizza ready when you get there!

The staff was so nice and the owner was such a sweet man, the restaurant was very clean and the food was excellent. As a matter of fact the Chicago deep dish was to die for! My family and I will definitely be back!

This was our first time at That's Amore Pizzeria. We shared an Italian salad which was very good. My only complaint was...no tomatoes in the salad. We also shared a New York Style pizza. It had plenty of meats and vegetables. The cheese on the pizza was excellent. Our server was prompt, friendly and checked on us frequently. It is a very cute place and we are looking forward to returning.

Pizza was good. New York style was very rigid but may have been because i only ordered a 10 inch. Chicago style takes 45 minutes to cook so I'll order that in advance next time!
