Legit the best po-boy outside of New Orleans.The ordering process was painless and service was fast. They bring the food right to the table. All of the typical poboy side items are on the menu along with a decent selection of seafood items. One important thing is that they used fresh seafood items for all of the menu items. The shrimp po boy was made with fresh (not frozen popcorn)shrimp which is starting to an uncommon occurrence and poboy spots now. Also the poboy was dressed very well and overstuffed with shrimpThe people behind the counter were all nice and very welcoming.
I was very impressed with the size of the small po boy and also the flavor of the shrimp and the Roast Beef. The gravy fries were absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend this place and their roast Beef is much better than most average poboy places. The fried shrimp was also very fresh and cooked perfectly.
My brother and I went here for the first time today as we were in the area. For other reasons. It's a smaller restaurant where you order at the counter and sit down and they bring you your food. I had the ferdie po-boy which is roast beef and ham with swiss cheese. We also had a fried shrimp po-boy and then Sheridan order of the gravy fries which is french fries with roast beef gravy and pieces of roast beef with two types of cheese melted on top. Everything was very good. Roast beef was nice and tender. Almost like a shaved type of cut. Was loaded up with plenty of beef. It's hard to tell from my pictures but it had lots of beef. Shrimp. Po-boy was also stuffed very full. They use gulf shrimp which is good and they were fried perfectly. The fries were also very very good. They don't skimp on the cheese. Lots of roast beef also and gravy under the cheese. The fries themselves are excellent. Server was very friendly as well. Food came out quickly. I will definitely be back if I am in the area again. The only thing I can suggest For improvement is that For Guess who are dining in, they should serve you on real plates With real forks and knives rather than serving everything in to go boxes, With plastic utensils.... but that's not a huge deal for me.
