This was my first time here with my daughter, it was terrible, the toast was all burnt and tasted a bit bitter, my daughter and I basically didn't eat it, we won't be back

I feel like the lady who was our server really did her best to get what we asked for. She was super nice and at times had us laughing. Even when we left something in the store, she came outside to give it to us
The waitress took the ketchup bottle from us that we had to get from another table and put it back before I could use it and complained about idk what while she did it.

I hate to leave bad reviews but Jesus Christ. They literally had every empty table dirty full of dishes with no plans on cleaning any of the. 4 out of 6 tables, the bar, everything with crap everywhere. I sat down with my partner to let them know we were there and waiting on a table, and after over 5 minutes of waiting we sat at the dirty bar. That 5 minutes felt like an eternity. I get it that you don't care as an employee, but it is literally disrespectful to tell me you don't give a care about me either when I am just trying to get a meal. If I was in Mandeville and there were only 2 waffle houses open... 1 in Mandeville and 1 in Baton Rouge, I would drive an hour to Baton Rouge to avoid the possibility of experiencing that again.

Not a fan of some of the servers. Complaining about not being busy, while sitting on her phone watching videos as loud as her phone would go. All the while I'm sucking ice cuz my drink was empty. Seriously needs an overhaul. Plus, they never ever clean under their counter. Super gross
