Food was terrible, service mediocre at best. When we explained the cheese was not what was listed on the menus we were told we were wrong. When we explained what was ordered was not good at all no attempt to offer a solution. Also the prices on the menu are not what was charged on the receipt.

Our favorite sushi place now, a little expensive.

This place is excellent especially for the price

We have been coming to Zen since they first opened, it’s always had the best sushi, but we haven’t been a a little while. We went last night, and now have Ramin on the menu, HOLY HELL it was so good, I even got it extra spicy, it was perfect! Can’t wait to go back.

LOVED this place. Service was a 10. The food, amazing! Presentation was chef's kiss 👌Cool atmosphere, but noisy. Definitely recommend. We aren't from the area, and took a shot at a new place. No regrets.

Best sushi in Mandeville!! My fiancée and I have dined in but we usually get take out. There is 0 difference in quality when you get take out! Great fresh and yummy options for everyone to enjoy.

We visited Zen Japanese Restaurant after a day trip to strawberry farm, and had a good overall experience.
The raw fish stood out—fresh, nicely prepared, and generously thick-cut, which made the sushi really satisfying. You can tell they put effort into presentation and portion quality.
Like any dining experience, a few items may come down to personal preference, but that’s part of exploring different spots and finding what you enjoy most.
Overall, it’s definitely a place worth trying for yourself, especially if you enjoy sushi and are looking for something local in Kenner. Everyone’s taste is different, and it’s always good to experience it firsthand.

I got an order to go and I will never revisit. Snow crab salad tastes like straight mayo, it is inedible. The spicy tuna roll has a fishy aftertaste. GROSS
