A small quiet family owned restaurant that was recommended to us by our captain on the swamp tour and touted as a “very good place to eat authentic New Orleans” I would have to sadly disagree. The quality of the food has consistently been exceptional, and I am pleased to report that the service has also improved significantly. My husband and I have been loyal customers for two decades. It will not disappoint.
From the outside aesthetics, this isn't a place that I would commonly visit. Bars on the window are usually a no for me. But we stopped in based on a referral from a friend. And boy was it worth it! The food was well priced and tasted absolutely amazing. I always get grilled shrimp, and it did not disappoint.
