DiCarlo's Food & Spirits

Our first visit to DiCarlo's was, unfortunately, a significant disappointment. First impressions matter, and the entrance was confusing. We couldn't find any clear signage on the building to confirm the entrance for the restaurant. The only clear entrance sign was on the patio which had no stairs for direct entrance from the parking lot. Once inside, the confusion continued. We stood for a moment, looking for a sign that would tell us whether to seat ourselves or wait to be seated, but there was nothing. After a moment of awkward hesitation, we decided to just sit down at an empty table. And then we waited. And waited. For seven minutes, not a single staff member acknowledged us, despite several walking past and one even lingering to socialize at a nearby table that seemed to be friends or family. It was incredibly frustrating to be so obviously ignored. We ended up leaving, as it was clear our business wasn't valued. We won't be returning.

Great staff and food. Bands always are the best. The ambiance is amazing. The water view is unbelievable.

Owners pushed us out on Valentines Day. Poor waiter kept saying I’m sorry. Menu was terrible. Alfredo sauce was thin as water, basically milk with parsley. Owners are terrible with customers. They literally pushed the 2 man band out cause it was 9:00

4 of us ordered hamburgers and none of them were good. McDonald’s has better. I usually don’t complain but all you need is a little salt and pepper. Very disappointing

For starts the windows are so dirty you can’t see the water.
I brought my family including my mother and father out to eat , we ordered Gumbo, this had to be the worse chicken sausage gumbo I have ever eaten,
Please understand I’m being as honest as possible. I will never go back if you can only serve watered down hard rice gumbo. We also was served 15 minutes between our plates. Very unprofessional

We hadn’t been here in over a year because we got sick the last two times. We were pleasantly surprised at the new deck and food was good. Our only complaint is the Alfredo sauce was too watery.

we went for lunch. was offered a lunch menu and it didn't have the soft shell crab offered for lunch. but the management let the waiter take our order anyway. and let me tell you the soft shell crab was awesome. i will definitely be back. and the service was great... we tipped over 20 percent for their service. love that place.

I had such high hopes for this place. It looks so nice from the road. Upon arrival, it's a guess as to which door you should enter. We went to the bar area. Wandered around for a bit before someone acknowledged us. All seating not already taken (about 60% open tables) was reserved for a band later that afternoon. They still had HOURS before the band. Nevertheless, we were ushered to the other side of the weirdest maze of a building. The floor was so sticky it made loud noises and all of our shoes were sticking to the floor. I didn't see pictures on the wall at all. It was very drab. Maybe I missed the room that had decor.
Food was sub-par at best. I had to wait a long time for extra napkins to wipe grease off of my food. Two other people in my party got the philly steak sandwich, and they said it was good, but they were out of french bread. It was put on a sweet bun instead. Confusing flavors. In all fairness, the waitress did let us know what they were out of before making a final decision. I won't talk about the waitress. I tipped a little over 20%; I was in the service industry, and sometimes you have an "off" day.
I WILL try them again and change/update this review. One of my friends raved about the burgers. Maybe it was a fluke ?‍♀️

They would seat 9 of us when there was plenty of room available. Didn’t even make any kind of effort. Not to mention, the host was rude

Service was absolutely awful. Once the server brought our food, she went and sat at a table with other servers and never came to check on us. I was never offered a refill on drink, had to ask for to go boxes, she those and the ticket, then never came back to get the ticket. I had to go ask someone to pay. She never apologized for not being on top of her job. She was more worried about sitting and talking than she was working. Food was subpar. This was our 2nd visit and we really enjoyed it the first time, but this time will be our last.

It was a terrible dining experience in every way possible the fish was terrible the place was not clean and the service was horrible we live close walking distance but honestly I have had gas station food that was better.

We made reservations to be sitting by the band. We got there on time and they gave our table (that we reserved a hour and a half before) away to some other people! The food was good. When we got our bill they charged us for food that we didn’t order. I didn’t see it until they have already ran my card. After a while they got the bill right.
