I would get a zero if I could. We placed a to-go order while riding around Lake Maurepas on Sunday 2/25/24. We had some boat problems, oil and smoke and couldn't drive our boat on the way to get our food. I called and told them the situation and at first the girl I spoke with was understanding and I apologized for the situation but it wasn't anything I could do at while trying to get my kids to calm down and trying to problem solve getting our boat up and running. Not long after that, our troller motor wire started smoking and we get a phone call from a male employee who is immediately aggressive on the phone and is not professional at all. Did not care about our situation and treated me with NO respect and talked down to me the entire time. He kept saying we will take your card at any time, over and over. I said it's not about paying, we are stuck in the middle of the lake and having a panic attack but sure here is my card and paid for it. We obviously did not get the food, as it took us 3 hours to get towed back to the landing. Lost our respect and our business!

We placed a togo order yesterday and was on our way to go get our food when our boat started smoking and leaking oil everywhere. We have 2 children so we were stuck in the middle of Lake Maurepas, and was waiting on family to come help us tow boat back to Canal Bank. We have never been in this situation before so we were kind of panicking a little. I called as a curtsey in a high stress situation to inform them we wouldn't be making it since we were stranded and would 2+ hours before we would be make it back at the earliest. I received a phone call a couple minutes later from a male employee who was so rude, unprofessional and pretty much accused me of making them make food and waste it. Accidents happen, and I told the girl on the phone multiple times I was so sorry about this and we were stuck in the lake with no running boat. I did pay for the food after he repeated, we will take your card information now, over and over as our engine is smoking. In a high stress situation, I was on the verge of tears at how this person was talking down to me was so unnecessary. We obviously never got the food since it took 3 hours to get back to the landing. Lost any future with my family!
We went here for our annual Christmas lunch and completely disappointed with management, cooks, server and the food. The server was very unexperienced, he didn't bring silverware, napkins or drink refills. My bloody mary tasted like hot sauce (no volka) on ice. This was probably because the bar tender was in a grumpy mood, she seemed like she had a rough nite before. She was definitely having a bad day. Everyone was missing an item or two. Nobody got salads. The food presentation was unacceptable. We were informed the kitchen was out of several basic items (baked potatoes, cheese and gumbo were a few) AFTER we noticed the items missing and we were all givin substitute at the cooks choice (not ours).SSCrab wasn't cooked all the way and no cheese on the au gratin. The pasta had sugar in it, I guess, because it was too sweet to eat. Not to mention the au gratin was cold and tasted like potatoe soup.Lastly the only child in our group had to wait for his plate well after we started eating. To say this restraunt classified as fine dining is an under statement. There was a lack of communication and training with every department.We are not a hard crowd to please nor are we complainers but this had to be said. I will give anybody a second chance but the manager seemed not to care nor did he try to make the situation better so we won't be back. I wasn't asking for a full refund but a free drink or a percentage off or maybe a free desert heck even an apology would have helped.

My wife and I went to the restaurant for the crab cakes. They were delicious and full of crab.The place was clean and bright light. Over all we had a great meal.

We love to give restaurants a struggling chance. We have been many times trying different things. Have not given up on them. They just added an outdoor area to dine. Heard they now have live music. Looking forward in going.

Just ok there is not a lot of options especially for Italian in the area . So hoping the food would improve . Only go here 1 a year due to poor quality. Got just ok food nothing wrong to send back just not my style . And I eat at a lot of real Italian restaurants.
