The Fish Shack- St.Bernard

The Fried Fish was perfect as usual! This was my first time trying the Green Bean Casserole and the Shrimp Gumbo, and both were amazing!

Had such a great experience with ordering from The Fish Shack! Towards the end of them moving to their new location, the fish shack donated a family meal to feed our operators working a turnaround! Outstanding customer service and excellent food! Thanks you guys are the best!

Stopped by today for our first time after we saw it on Outside the Levees show on YouTube and as soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by the sweetest lady! She made us feel like we had just walked into our favorite family members house at Thanksgiving and she hadn’t seen us all year lol The atmosphere was excellent, it was clean and our waitress was very knowledgeable and fast but never felt like we were being rushed. We tried the boudin egg rolls and instantly regretted only ordering 2. They are divine! We got a shrimp poboy and fried shrimp tacos and it was delicious. Can’t say enough good things about this place! We will definitely be back.

Made a first time visit on Sunday afternoon to this gem. Ordered the fried fish tacos and a boudin egg roll (had to try it!) and was blown away. Incredibly fresh veggies in the tacos and perfectly cooked fish. These are served on large tortillas, so I could only eat one and have the other for lunch today. The egg roll was a delicious treat. Service was great, engaging without being intrusive. Next time, maybe the milkshake! Thanks!

Wife and I had a terrific lunch here highlighted by delicious gumbo! The owner, a nice younger lady, was fascinated to hear we were from California and driving the Great River Road. If we lived nearby we'd eat here 3 times a week!

Wonderful hidden away place. We had four adults share two bottom feeder meals and left food in both of the baskets. Very clean and the flowers were such a nice touch. We were just here visiting but will make the ferry trip over ($2 and a fun experience) and try a family meal next time!

Stop here any time we make it over to St. Bernard Parish. The owner is the most amazing person ever, super fun, friendly, and welcoming. The food is always spot on. The crazy sauce they offer is fantastic as well! This is a place I love bringing friends and family visitors to so they can experience the positive and friendly experience we all crave!
