Pretty decent to average place to get a bite of food. Hamburger is what you’d expect, service didn’t disappoint. Doesn’t come with sides or anything but other than that no complaints.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch either my wife. They Swamp Burger was awesome. Cooked perfect, juicy, and great fires. Beer was cold as well. Had a great lunch and will be going back.

Great little place for late night food that’s not Waffle House. I’ve been there a few times with my wife and some friends. Everything we’ve had there has been excellent. The staff is quick and friendly. The prices are a little high, but that’s everywhere nowadays, can’t escape the effects of inflation

Placed an order for takeout and I ordered two swamp burgers. Not only were they $15 a piece but they came plain, cheese was extra and no fries. I paid $30 for two burgers with cheese and NO fries. Then when I walked in to get it one of two bartenders looked me and continued her conversation with another customer. Not a how can I help you conversation but a chit chat conversation. So I had to wait for the other bartender to see me and take care of me. Needless to say I won't ever be back nor will I recommend to a friend. Hell I wouldn't even recommend this place to someone I didn't like. McDonald's is better than this garbage.

The swamp burger has been an icon of the Metairie area for many years. A recent trip to the swamp room for lunch was less than stellar. The burger isnt what is used to be. It was a large burger, but had no flavor. The fries tasted freezer burnt and the onion rings overcooked. Staff was super friendly and the food came quickly. Hopefully it was just a one off thing. Ill give em another shot and revise this review if warranted.
