I purchased some Glazed Beignets and all I can say is wow ! I ordered 6 and I wished I ordered 12 .The beignets was so good and hot they melted in your mouth!!!! . I’m trying them for the first time. I will return whenever I’m in New Orleans.

Came on a Monday and google said it’s open. They were closed. Why can’t they update their times. So many people were walking up to find it closed. Ridiculous.

I'm a frequent supporter of this business and I'm very familiar with the staff, from constant cake purchases. Unfortunately, I had by far the worst experience that I've ever had at Antione's. I placed an order for beignets, nothing new for a Saturday morning. Usually the wait is about 5-10mins( totally fine) behind they are made to order and tend to be a bit busy. Regrettably , Abby took it upon herself, to serve me not only cold, but old beignets. Within 2 mins of me ordering, my order was already ready. Not being comfortable with how fast my order has came out. I checked my beignets in the car, to find they were indeed old and cold . Ofcourse I went to Abby, stating the beignets had not been made to order, just for Abby to replace the beignets, hot but now having little to none of the glaze. This event was very unfortunate and disappointing. With that being said, I will not be patronizing this business or sending any more family and friends their way. It only takes a smile, the will to please the customer and honesty. Very disappointed in the bakery. Do better guys!

My daughter got me a cake 🎂 for my birthday and it was decorated all around with light pink and dark pink on the sides and the top was all roses in off white it was absolutely beautiful and delicious....almond cake and buttercream icing the best I have had in a very long time. Delicious...

Let me begin by saying the glazed beignets are made to order, served warm and melt in your mouth, so I had to take a bite before I was able to make myself snap a few pics! 😆 I definitely recommend them, but be careful, they’re addictive and loaded with calories, but oh sooo good! 🙂
Not only is this the BEST king cake I’ve ever had (and I’ve literally had ALL the big names), their customer service is unmatched (I went to the Gretna location)! I online ordered a traditional king cake for pick up about 4 days ahead of time and when I arrived, it was ready and waiting for me! I drove out of state 1.5 hours to get their king cake too! They had a wonderful employee, Kala (I hope I’m spelling it correctly), who was not only checking people out, but also going out to the line to update customers! I also wanted a Queen cake that I was unable to order online like the other, but y’all, this bakery literally took my order while I was in line and BAKED IT! Now yes, I had to wait a while, BUT, if you’re familiar with most big king cake establishments, once they’re out, they’re just out. Doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in line, how far you came, none of that. But at Antoine’s, Kala literally wrote down the name of each person in line by 6:00 pm (closing time) and what king cake type and size they wanted, baked it, and assured everyone in that line received one! I’ve NEVER seen anything like it! I think there had been a bit of a hold up because a vendor in a big van picked up a TON of King cakes, but I was literally blown away that not one person in that line by closing time was turned away and told they were just sold out for the day. I left the most impressed and will definitely be back!
