Not only is this the BEST king cake I’ve ever had (and I’ve literally had ALL the big names), their customer service is unmatched (I went to the Gretna location)! I online ordered a traditional king cake for pick up about 4 days ahead of time and when I arrived, it was ready and waiting for me! I drove out of state 1.5 hours to get their king cake too! They had a wonderful employee, Kala (I hope I’m spelling it correctly), who was not only checking people out, but also going out to the line to update customers! I also wanted a Queen cake that I was unable to order online like the other, but y’all, this bakery literally took my order while I was in line and BAKED IT! Now yes, I had to wait a while, BUT, if you’re familiar with most big king cake establishments, once they’re out, they’re just out. Doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in line, how far you came, none of that. But at Antoine’s, Kala literally wrote down the name of each person in line by 6:00 pm (closing time) and what king cake type and size they wanted, baked it, and assured everyone in that line received one! I’ve NEVER seen anything like it! I think there had been a bit of a hold up because a vendor in a big van picked up a TON of King cakes, but I was literally blown away that not one person in that line by closing time was turned away and told they were just sold out for the day. I left the most impressed and will definitely be back!

Had a destination wedding in New Orleans and gave Antione’s a call. Kim spoke with me with patience and care. I had no idea what I wanted and could not attend an in-person consult. Kim took me through the process and she offered helpful feedback and direction. We agreed on size, look, and flavor of our wedding cake. It turned out beautifully and so delicious. Our guests are still talking about the yummy wedding cake. They will take care of you. They definitely took care of me and I am so thankful.

Can I just say how unprofessional this experience has been for me! I really didn’t think it would have come to this, but here it is. I ordered a two tiered cake for my daughter’s College Graduation (wow a big milestone) because due to COVID she didn’t get a chance to have a graduation in 2020. So I wanted to go all out for her this time. I placed my order on 4/13/24 put half down gave a picture of how I wanted both cakes top tier white with buttercream filling and bottom tier royal blue with pineapple filling, mind you the order form says reference picture. Went back a week later at about 4pm to pay the other half, and there was a lot of unprofessional, lots of clowning going on and one customer talking about how they used to give him free stuff and two rude young ladies! Anyway my pickup day was 5/10/24, when I got there to pick up my order and to my surprise it was Totally wrong, they bought out a white tiered cake the top and bottom tier, I was shocked and let them know it was wrong and Loria A was giving me attitude like it was my fault. I saw AG who initially taken the order and personally said she was going to do my cake, but when it was wrong I never saw her again. I called the Metairie store to ask for a manager because mind you when asked for one while at the Gretna store no one knew who they were. They told me to come back at 4pm and they will redo the cake! The color still didn’t look right, really the whole cake! The next day at the graduation party still got disappointed because the whole cake was pineapple filling top tier no buttercream at all. I tried calling on 5/13/24 to speak with the owner or manager at the Gretna store @ 7:23 am they pretended to take my phone number and was going to call me back. I called the Metairie store on 5/14/24 and left a message with Yolanda and she remembered the situation and she had taken my phone number so she can have the owner call me back, and I am still waiting on that call but as you can read, it never happened and I’ve given them ample of time to. At this point I don’t think they care!! Mind you my cake was not cheap and also guess was complaining that the cake was gummy!! Very disappointed with this service!!!

Brought cake with two thin slices missing and explained the problem, they offered nothing in return. $40 hard earned dollars down the drain. I left the cake with them anyways. Thats how bad it was. Put in call to owner. But never got a call back. Wont be coming here except for king cake. I will go back to Gambinos for my cake needs. Two stars because of their king cake only.

The service was amazing! All my questions were answered about the different deserts. I tried the pound cake , cup cakes, and glazed beignets, and they both were fresh and delicious. I had to write home about this place that's how good everything was!! I found my new bakery when I visited New Orleans, babeeee!
