If you want a really good burger in Metairie Eat at BEN's ...the food was awesome and made to order and nice and hot too! This is a spot that I highly recommend especially if you have TEENS! You can definitely not go wrong. Plenty of Saints fan selfies here...They got burgers they've got fries they've got chicken they've got pies they've got nuggets by the bulk, they got buckets of the sauce, they got smokies they've got dawgs, they got Shakes we love it all!! Mayo, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, meat, cheese, mustard....song on TikTok is catchy too kids had the song on repeat. girls rated it a 9.5 out of 10Kid-friendliness: Kid and Teen Friendly Menu actually your kids will devour it!

Definitely the standard roadside burger joint. Place was well kept and service was good.. Burger was pretty good. Hotdogs lack a lot to be desired. The weiner was split multiple times lengthways and cooked over an open flame. Char flavor is not a problem.. The chili (if you wanna call it that) was pretty bad. Tastes more like a barbecue sauce with little to no meat... Don't even bother trying to get a sausage dog. For some reason it's a copy-write infringement (go figure). But like the hotdog it's cooked over an open flame.. charred!! And then served on a hamburger bun?? WTF?.?.? Guess the locals like the place, doubtful I would go back..

I initially patronized Ben's Burgers several years ago while dating my now-ex-girlfriend. At the time, the affordability, decent food, and excellent staff were appealing. In 2018, I relocated, and in 2021, I returned after my father's heart attack, taking a job with them. However, I've observed a shift in direction, and upon future visits, I may decide to stay. While I won't actively frequent or spend time at the establishment, my connection with it has evolved.

Came in on a Saturday evening after a day of fishing. Service was fine but our Hamburgers were burnt to a crisp. Couldn't eat them.

Incapable of following a simple order. Ordered a burger with light lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and ketchup.
Ended up with a burger with a pile of cheese, heavy lettuce, mayonnaise and ketchup. Cook had attitude when notified about mistake. Bad first impression, never again.

First time trying them out yesterday and never returning back, I called in and ordered hot sausage and fries to go last told me it would be ready between 10-15 minutes, i worked 3 minutes from this establishment, so after 8 minutes of me calling it in i head over there, i get back to my office and the hot sausage wasn’t even room temperature it was cold fries were hot, so i called ask to speak to the manager i believe his name was anthony don’t quote me he was extremely rude and disrespectful, told me there was nothing he could do no refund nothing and i told him i’m not asking for my money back but at least remake it he told me no and hung up the phone i call back to get his name he was very sarcastic stating “yea my name is anthony anything else you need” before i could answer him the call hung up again

When your staff cant even put a piece of cheese on a burger in time for it to heat up then you have a problem! Cold cheese and the burger had no seasoning at all. Simple things but crucial to be a great burger place. P.S. check your ICE MACHINE.... I drank my soda , the ice melted in the cup in my car and black specks were on my cup... as a Chef this to me is an indication the ice machine is dirty!
